I can't get the Here maps or Openstreet maps speed limit data imported. I finally got registered with Here after an hour of playing with their crappy login interface but now I can't figure out where to go or what to do to import the speed limit data. Any walk through on what exactly to do to import all this speed limit data? In Google Maps my speed limit indicator shows up but it shows 0 speed limit. It shows how fast I am going but I am trying to replace my old Garmin GPS that is having issues and this is the last feature I need. If I could easily get the above done I would rate this app 5 star for sure. I appreciate any help you can provide.
The app works OK. It displays my speed and the speed limit on Google maps 8. However, the speed limit displayed is very inaccurate. Wrong limit displayed more often than not. Don't trust this app to save your driving license. Not sure if the problem is the app or the database.
Speedo all over the place. Sitting at the traffic lights doing 2, 4 ,0 and 10kph. Bad when on the move using cruise on a flat road.
Limited use here in Victoria Australia where the government collects the most speeding fines from drivers exceeding 50 km/hr on minor roads. Would consider 4 star for better integration with HERE. Would consider 5 star for inclusion of output to a RSL device
Pretty decent add on overlay for maps. Has both current speed and speed limits. The Here maps integration was a bit off for me, but overall, a great app. Fills in the gap where Google maps dropped the ball.
I have spent 45 minutes just trying to sign up for the Here database account. Between the Velocitaptor header and the incompetent Here signup mobile sight with stupid "press start to begin coding" popup there is less than a line visible for the entire form. Add to that a CRAPPY CRAPPY input field validation that he forced me to relate the form over an over and over and over.....hell, I can write my own before I can even power the damned thing up. Later... Ok, kind response resulted in persevering with the Here account. It's a tad convoluted (as noted elsewhere, hassle to set up)... we will give it a go, now
• Re-add HERE Maps database - register in Velociraptor's settings
• Update translations from OneSky
