Turbulence is the number one fear for most flyers and this App addresses those fears. It has been designed by an experienced airline captain who has helped thousands of people to overcome their fear of flying.
The App allows the user to record and compare bumps they feel on a car or train journey with the turbulence they are experiencing in flight. According to the bumpiness appropriate messages 'from the Captain' are displayed on the screen to reassure the user.
The 'bumpiness' is shown by a line that measures g force values and displays it against a view from a plane showing the ground and a layer of soft broken clouds.
There are two simple exercises to use in flight to reduce anxiety levels. On screen guidance takes the user through each exercises to get maximum benefit from them.
There are three audio tracks. The first is a message from Captain Keith to the user as if he were your pilot on board your flight. So if the real pilot forgets to talk to the user, they have your own on board PA. There are instructions on using the App and other contact information.
The second audio track describes turbulence and why there is no need to be anxious about it. The three common questions about turbulence are answered.
