Mobile Deposit Not Working on Galaxy S5 UPDATE: Received a phone call from tech support, and a new update to fix the Galaxy S5 mobile deposit is in the works. Great customer service! Fellow s5 users: downloading the regular pnc app will allow the mobile deposits, it was already fixed. Everything about the app and this bank is wonderful; however, since upgrading my phone from a Galaxy s3 to a Galaxy s5, the mobile deposit feature no longer works. The pictures take perfectly, but the app says they are not clear enough.
Works great except... Everything on this app works great, but the slide bar for transferring from spend to reserve has not worked on my last two phones even after updates. Seeing how that is the first thing on the top when the app is opened, one would think that would be a priority. I will reevaluate my rating if they ever fix this issue, but it has been like this for over a year.
I like it but when I try to switch... what account activity I want to see, it freezes. After talking with a rep, she explained that this app was only designed to handle one acct. I feel that if you have 2 virtual wallet accts, then you should be able to view both acct activities with ease and not need 2 apps for the same reason. If this app is fixed to handle this type of work, then 5 stars will definitely be awarded. I just think it's an inconvenience to have 2 apps when only 1 is truly needed.
After you are done using this app, about 5 min later the app very annoyingly interrupts whatever you are doing on your phone later to tell you you have been signed off. Can't even tell you how many times my videos, reading, text messages, etc were interrupted due to this. Also, the saved username in the l logon screen frequently gets blanked out fort no apparent reason
Too many glitches I decided to download the virtual wallet app after getting tired of the glitches from the mobile PNC app. You are better off just logging in through the internet. After doing a transfer I am now trying to do a 2nd one and the "from account" I want to use isn't an option. Way too many glitches on both apps that have existed for over a year. PNC you really need to get your stuff together app wise as well as customer service.
Average - behind the times This app needs some work - no fingerprint login, Remember Me feature doesn't work, strongly dislike the experience when changing to check my other account. Also wish transactions showed the running total balance. Otherwise, it's a fairly solid app that gets the job done, but it doesn't have any wow factor.
- Check Deposit Now Includes Automatic Image Capture
Now it’s even easier to deposit checks using the PNC Mobile Banking app. When using Mobile Deposit, position your check within the on-screen guides and allow the app to capture the check image automatically.
