🛠 Car diagnostics

Fault codes OBD2 scanner - inCarDoc Pro - reads Check Engine (MIL) state, details, related freeze frame data and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTC). Allows to store and share diagnostics data when looking for a professional service/repair assistance. Please note that app supports only parameters and ECU's specified with OBD-II standard, that is Engine and Emission systems.


⏲ Real-time parameters

Monitor live engine data straight from your car's sensors: speed, RPM, coolant temperature, pressure, O2 oxygen sensors and many more PIDs. View data as charts or analog/digital widgets. The exact list of available parameters depends on your car's make, model and year.

⛽ Fuel economy 'Economizer'

Economizer tracks your gas consumption in real time — instant and average MPG, per-trip and per-day statistics. For accurate results, enter your engine displacement and volumetric efficiency (default: 80%). Requires MAF or MAP+IAT+RPM parameters to be supported by your car. For correct calculations you may need to enter Engine displacement (in cubic cm) and volumetric efficiency (in %, the default is 80).

Every permission inCarDoc Pro requests is essential for the app to work properly — nothing more:

• Device & app history. Keeps the app running reliably in the background;
• Location. Enables GPS speed, altitude, and location-based service search;
• Photos / Media / Files. Saves your Logbook entries and diagnostic data locally;
• Bluetooth & WiFi/ Connects to your OBD2 scanner and syncs Logbook to the web.
• Drawing over other apps. Presenting economy and selected parameters over other app’s screens

⚠️ Important: adapter compatibility

Some cheap ELM327 clones (often labeled v2.1) may cause connection issues. If you experience problems, please contact us by email with your adapter name, MAC address, ELM327 firmware version and a connection log — this helps us build a public list of problematic adapters and protect other users.

Ratings and reviews

This redesign sucks. I liked this app because it was simple, but allowed you to access lots of data. Now there's a large generic car taking up a 1/4 of the screen when I open the app? Why? My custom Combi gauges are also gone. Remade one to try it. Now the colors for graphing are green/teal/blue/red. Good luck telling those apart at a glance, even if you aren't color blind. And Widget mode can only show two gauges at once now? This app has been ruined.

Helpful tools, loved it for years but recent updates took away the cluster display. it only shows in portrait and you have to scroll to find things. cannot wait for them to fix that so they can reclaim my 5 star review.

2 stars for the following. I don't think the FRP is very accurate, there's no Boost gauge specifically, which is important when you have a turbo. The latest update has completely trashed this app, fuel economy reads way way off, can't tune the gauges to your vehicles specs i.e rpm range. a car image takes up too much visual space, can't change the gauge colors which makes wrong the data And numbers hard to read. I paid for this app please fix these issues.
