This app requires the following permissions:
* Location permission to access your Wi-Fi network details to detect weak Wi-Fi settings.
* Accessibility permission (AccessibilityService API) in the Web Shield feature that protects you from threats on the web by alerting you to when you visit a malicious web site. Personal or sensitive data is not collected or stored.
* Device Administrator permission for device lock functionality (only if needed for stolen device, and only with real-time customer consent).

Note: The ability to access the claim filing and tracking feature from the Xfinity Mobile Care app is available only to those users enrolled in the Xfinity Mobile Care program and geographically restricted for usage within the United States and Canada.

New Update: the $15 insurance plan with FREE screen replacement/repairs has been denied by assurance. they would rather collect a $99 deductible and replace my device. OldUpdate: I did finally, after 2 weeks of effort and randomly calling corporate support numbers. reach a care team member in the states at corporate escalation who was able to resolve my bill. in general I can say Xfinity provides good products, but customer service outside the United States should be replaced in its entirety.

I have a damaged device keeps overheating. They want me to send the only active line I have before they send me a replacement said if I don't send it within 5 days I will be charged $599. I am the victim of stalking and have no other means to make a phone call if something happens. They are claiming I never sent back the previous damaged device. I spent 45 mins on the phone just being extremely confused. Now My PTSD is heightened alert. They are forcing my hand to be in unsafe situation

I have never filed a claim for a phone ever. this process was sooo easy. it may have taken all of 3 to 4 minutes.
