Ratings and reviews

Plays well, controls are easy to learn, but I'm having the damnedest time getting it to actually update and download new podcasts when they are released. It seems determined not to do that, despite adjusting the download settings and frequency. Still trying to figure out how to get it to manually update my podcasts, but it just cycles it's graphic without actually functioning. Other than this (significant) problem, I am satisfied with the function. But this problem needs fixing.

This app uses mobile data without asking. If you don't completely finish listening to a program it marks it as unplayed and doesn't remove it from the player. It does not put all the downloads in one place, you have to go to them through the individual icons. If you pause listening for more than a few seconds it turns off and you have to go into your phone and restart. I learned this after just 2 days of use, who knows what else there is, I Uninstalled it.

Couple of gripes... First, this is the first podcast app I've used with ads embedded in the UI as well as the audio ads in the podcasts. Some of those ads are fullscreen, blocking playback controls (this is bad when you're driving). Using my car stereo playback controls is finicky; it only responds some of the time. Using the skip forward/backward buttons frequently causes playback to freeze and occasionally crashes the app. When streaming an episode, it doesn't appear to buffer.
