Best IT support ever! I loved the app and used it for a while but had trouble downloading a particular podcast I wanted to listen to the next day. I emailed and the developer Kevin was very responsive and sorted my problem out with 2 email interchanges and plenty of time to spare.
Update 10/16/16: Used Sync function through free 2 GB Dropbox account to quickly transfer all podcasts from my old phone to my new phone with absolutely no problems. Still using this app on a daily basis and highly recommend it. Update 2/6/16: Love this app. Still using it daily on my Nvidia Shield Tablet. Automates my podcast download and playback, saves time and simplifies the task. Using it for video podcasts on my Tablet and audio on my Phone. Great support from developer.
Perfect microcosm of the world Ideally delivered in an attractive package called Podcatcher. Good variety that I can stream or download. Otherwise, just recommend for a quick response. Perfect for travelling in planes.
My podcatcher of choice Superb interface, very responsive developer. Does not rename podcast files, and that's a very good thing.
Great Great app.
Best app for gPodder sync I looked at (tested) ALL podcast apps on Android that have the gPodder (a cross-platform open source podcast aggregator for Windows, Mac, Linux etc.) sync capabilities, and this app is the best and therefore my final choice. Although it doesn't have the sleekest look, it has the most convenient/efficient layout and best usability for me. It updates/loads lightning fast which is the most important to me as I have 50+ podcast subscriptions. I really like the 3-column layout for maximum info at a glance. Try out with the free version (Simple Podcatcher) first and see if you like the controls. I had to have the video version because I subscribe to video podcasts. Videos play on full screen with one touch and have the same ff/rw buttons as the audio player. You barely notice the buffering as it only takes 1-2 seconds. The dev was super responsive and replied my email of questions. He also said he will consider feature suggestions, so I'll definitely stick around.
