About this app

The Poersmart app allows you to remotely monitor and manage your heating and security system from anywhere by using your mobile phone. Work with Poer room thermostat, Poer self-powered radiator controller, Poer Gas detector and Poer gateway.

With the Poersmart app you can:

1.Remotely control your devices from any place you are: check and change heating system setting like temperature, schedule, working mode etc.

2.Totally control your numbers of room thermostat, radiator controller in multiple locations.

3.Clearly know the status of your batteries, energy consumptions.

4.View and take local weather forecast for reference when setting the heating system.

5.On time alert about your heating and security system: once there is high or low temperature, gas leak at home, you can be known by app’s pushing alerts and notification.

6.Automatically upgrade to new version once they are available.

Ratings and reviews

The best way to describe the app is "it does the job". The app is not very polished, and has some minor bugs and translation issues here and there, but is decent overall. What would be nice to have, is a widget that displays the current temperature of a thermostat, and maybe can also execute some actions, like setting the thermostat to "Away", or "Off", without having to go into the app for something very basic. It can even act as a shortcut, and take you to the controls of the thermostat.

I have been using the app for about 2 years together with the thermostat. It's a good app, but one thing makes it NOT friendly to energy consumption: the fact that it doesn't have a way to set the temperature step(if you set the temp to be 21 degrees C the thermostat will start at 20. 7 and stop at 21.3 degrees C). It would be nice to be able to set this step to 0. 2 or 0.1 or any other value. Or maybe have an option for setting up the lower and upper values independently.

it worked perfectly for years but after the last update the controller keeps disconnecting, I unplug it/ take the batteries out of the controller, it reconnects and after about an hour it disconnected, even with the controller/ thermostat next to the relay and wifi adapter .. I finally reset everything and started from scratch re-pairing all the devices and it seems to be working.
