PortSIP Softphone is a SIP-based softphone for Android that uses Wi-Fi or 4G/LTE connection to make and receive calls and Instant Messages.

Interworking with PortSIP PBX, PortSIP Softphone support push notification, which allows it receive calls and messages even it was force terminated.

By using Android's existing contact list, PortSIP Softphone facilitates easy and effective communication management with an intuitive interface which accommodates multiple calls. Call functionality includes the ability to switch between two calls, merge and split calls and perform attended and unattended transfers. It also supports video conference without MCU support.

PortSIP Softphone incorporates advanced security settings which allows for secure call signaling and audio encryption.

It supports up to 1080P video call with H.264 and VP8 codec, and supports HD audio call. Codecs offered includes: G.279, G.711a/u, Opus, AMR, AMR-WB, G.722.1, iLBC, GSM, SPEEX-WB.

One of the best softphones I tried sofar Edit 11/11/25: It was that until the last update... they removed the feature that I can be called while having a mobile call. Now it just auto cancels an incoming call, when I am in a call outside the app. Edit: 17/11/25: I also noticed that the call somehow get stuck... even you don't see a call. The alarm isn't working anymore and the voice recorder and so, the phone says it's in a call that happened with the update before and the one that came out now.

worst app. In the middle of the call it's getting disconnected and asking for login again. Multiple times it asks to login.

Works great over wifi, connection is stable. So far the most reliable softphone I have tried. Not a single issue while on a call. Two small issues/improvements: * for some reasons, sign-in over 4g doesn't work. It times out after a while (while it works with other softphones). * impossible to exit the app if interested only in outgoing calls. This unnecessarily drains the battery. I have to 'force close' the app after using, which is a bit of a pain.
