When Abdullah(r.a.) was just a baby, his mother took him to be blessed by the Prophet(s.a.w.) This was the start of an Intimate relationship between Prophet(s.a.w.) and Abdullah(r.a.)

Abdullah-Ibn-Hudhafah(r.a.) was chosen to take the Prophet (s.a.w.) letter to the Persian ruler Khusraw Parvez. So Abdullah(r.a.) set out leaving his wife and son behind. On reaching the land he met the Persian King Khusraw and Handed him the letter. After reading the letter King was anger as the Prophet(s.a.w.) had not given him precedence in the letter and his name was mentioned after Allah ( s.w.t.) and Prophet Muhummad (s.a.w.). He ordered Abdullah(r.a.) to be expelled from his court. Abdullah(r.a.) was very upset after the Persian ruler had disrespected the letter.

Abdullah Ibn Masud(r.a.) was a young boy used to tend flock of sheep of a Quraysh * cheftian. One day Abdullah(r.a.) was tending his flock he saw two distinguished looking men coming towards him. They looked very tired, hungry and thirsty. They greeted Abdullah(r.a) and said milk one of the sheep for us we are very thirsty. But Abdullah(r.a.) replied I cannot do that because these are not my sheep. Two men did not argue and they liked the Honest reply of Abdullah(r.a.).The two men were none other than the Prophet(s.a.w.) himself and Abu Bakr Siddiq(r.a.)
Ikrimah(r.a.) Ibn Abi Jahl (r.a.) was the son of Abu Jahl, the person who was the biggest enemy of Prophet Muhammad(s.a.w.). Abu Jahl was a tyrant and one who promoted Shirk*. He loved to torture people who believed in Islam. Ikrimah took over from his tyrant father and challenged the Prophet(s.a.w.). At the battle of Badr*, Abu Jahl led the non-believers of Makkah against the muslims. Abu Jahl was one of the first to lose his life in the battle. Ikrimah saw his father with spears on his body and cried out in Pain. He fled the scene of battle and returned vowing to avenge his father's death and kill the Prophet(s.a.w.).

The story is about Abdullah Ibn Umar(r.a.) who was the son of Umar(r.a.). It chornicles his journey with the Prophet starting from how at the age of thirteen he and Usmah ibn Zayd went to join the Prophet(s,a.w,) army, but were sent back by the Prophet(s.a.w) due to their young age.
