They're not cooperative in issuing a refund even when the driver could've dropped the food at the reception. Instead they force you into believing that it's the customers fault for not being able to receive the order personally while the driver could've easily left the food with the receptionist instead of choosing to take it with himself/herself and consider it his/her own which is considered stealing according to me. Hence, Postmates policies are meant to cheat you

Postmate keeps on posting after 10 minutes after you put a order in they will cancel your order within 10 minutes and give you the same old reason there's no one available to take your order but they will still take your order.

Dont get this app unless you are going to order from the exact same place every time I orederd from my house and my mothers house and it suspended my account and asked me to prove I lived at my house.

I wasn't even able to use postmates due to the limited amount of areas they have. I live in orlando. 32818 area, yet every time I want to place an order I'm not zoned for it. You guys should really up on the amount of locations y'all carry. This is ridiculous
It's a good app for my area but I don't like the delivery fees and how they're so expensive. Most places I'm paying nearly $20 just in a delivery fee. Could definitely work on that a lot.
It would be great if it showedthe total with fees before you accepted.
I have never had an issue with Postmates. They are a very reliable app. I usually get my food early, and it has always been hot. Great customer service too. Makes college so much better.
Orders are canceled too frequently, and customer service is awful (can't call or reach a human being easily)

Doesn't show your credit but delivery is quick depending on rush hour. I would say prices are pretty good compared to other apps. No delivery minimum
I used to like the app, but lately they been getting my orders wrong. Every single time. Not only that but most never come to my door. I gotta walk the mile just to get my food. I mean what's the point? I might as well just go to the restaurant myself. But I use this cause I thought it was convenient. So unistall and go to Grubhub or beyondmenu, better yet. There a lot more cheaper and don't get the orders wrong as well.
Frequent user! I love the app it's easy, it's effective and so convenient , my only issue is that 30.00 charge that takes way to long to reverse when my order only 10.00.....other than that I'm a fan. Definitely recommend to everyone... use my code CHEERONH for delivery ππ top notch service so far!
I just downloaded and used this app for the first time. My order was wrong, three of the five things I ordered were incorrect. I wouldn't be so upset if there was a way to directly contact the company to get the situation corrected but you can't call them, they have to contact you. So now I have food that I can't eat (I'm a vegetarian and the food is loaded with meat) and I can even get the order fixed. First and last time I'll use this app.
This service is absolutely horrible- doesn't even deserve the one star. I got the app to try it and first there was a problem with my zip code not being accepted (when I know for sure I had the right one). Then when I looked at my bank account, they charged a dollar each time I tried to get the stupid app to take my zip code! Unbelievable. Crimminal! And there is no possible way to contact "support" for it. I looked for phone numbers, emails, etc to reach out to but nothing. I could only contact support about "past orders" when I never even got to place one before running into a problem!
They get the orders wrong as much as they get it right. There are too many other options to use Postmates if they can't get it right. UberEats, Doordash, GrubHub, take your pick. Why order with them if they can't get the order right?
Steal from employees and customers. I work for Postmates and only get 50 percent or less from deliveries instead of 80percent. So when your charged 10 bucks for a delivery you post mate is getting fucked. Plus when you leave a tip they dip I to it. I am a Postmates driver. And after reading all these post. POSTMATES IS STEALING. YOUR POSTMATE IS SUPPOSE TO GET 80PERCENT. PEOPLE ARE GETTI G CHARGED OUTRAGEOUSLY WHILE YOUR POSTMATE/DRIVER IS NOT GETTING THE DELIVERY FEE AND IF YOU LEAVE A TIP BEONG TAKEN!!?!?!!
I'm in the Phoenix-metro area. So far, after having used this app for almost a month, I've come to love using Postmates for its convenience. I even used it once for groceries when I was in a pinch. Tho I don't recommend it as a sub for other grocery-delivery apps or getting it yourself as it is overpriced. I have only had 1 disappointing delivery so far, but that's what the rating & tips are for: to show how satisfied you were with their delivery. I do wish there was a way to contact the driver, in case I missed something or wanted to give better help with an order, instead of waiting for their call. I'm sure there are better food delivery apps out there, but I also appreciate that postmates is like an extension of amazon prime now. Not on prime now's app? I'll look at postmates. They can deliver from convenience and department stores instead of solely food places.
We used this service twice for a Mexican restaurant that only uses Postmates to deliver. The Postmates menu was different than the restaurant menu but we were able to get it sorted using notes. However, spending $14 to have food delivered is just a waste of money. You are literally paying for a taxi for your food. Another restaurant we love switched from having their own delivery people to Postmates so now we only get food from there if we can get it ourselves. Shame. Also, couldn't tip driver until after the order was delivered and they can't accept cash for tip so not sure we ever even tipped even though we'd spent $14 to get the food.
This app is garbage. I made an order and it immediately went to "In route to delivery" it's arrival time hasn't changed and I got screwed out of 50 bucks. Customer service was no help either. DO NOT USE THIS P.O.S. APP
It wont deliver to my zip code even though its less then 10 min from the store I wanted to ordered from. But someone whose one block different from me with a different zip code it delivwrs to.
Completely overcharging for delivery fees and "other fees," it ends up doubling the price of your order in the first place. Not worth the time or money. It would be cheaper to call an Uber to pick up my food for me!!
I used to love postmates, but to reach customer service you have to email them and they take ages to respond. Also, much like uber, you never know what you're going to get from your postmates delivery person. Some are great and really care to do their job, and others don't care at all. If something gets left out of your order, even if its the main entree, postmates response is oh well here's a refund. So much for that dinner you were waiting on! Useless.
I' signed up to be a postmate delivery and i received my bag my card but it's not letting me activate the card and it's saying it's still waiting on my background check i would like to know what is the problem
Had a really bad experience. Was charged for a meal i never recieved. Zero customer service. Its like relying on the sun to never burn your skin.
This app is pretty awful. They told me what my total was and it ended up being way higher. Food is good though.
Waste of time. The app allows you to start the order process even when no one is delivering.
Before I start this review, I was content with Postmates until this one absurd incident I just encountered. Please be aware about the $30 verification that they charge without warning. I've used this app for delivery two times and I had no problem with the transactions. They charge for the price of the food and the price for the delivery. I've also had a $100 delivery fee promo, so I was pretty satisfied with the app so far. HOWEVER, I am furious about the third transaction and the lack of customer support. I made an order for a grocery pickup and all my items price were TBD until it got to my place (which I'm fine about) and the delivery fee was $15 (the promo will cover the cost with my $62 promo left to use). Right when I placed the order, I was charged $30. I immediately tried to find the reason for the charge and there was no details about it. I cancelled the order and it stated $0 was refunded... But my bank statement says I was charged $30 immediately. WHY? I contacted customer support and they stated that the charge was to verify if my card exists.. But I've used the app two times before. Why verify now, and why $30? It's such a ridiculous amount for verification. I emailed customer support again and asked to be provided with a phone number, but they respond with a scripted answer and ignoring my request. I'm a college student with a tight budget and I've worked with mobile dev and programming. There's definitely a bug with this app, or their trying to find a way to take your money; this must be fixed either way. I'm currently resolving the issue, users please beware.
