Annoying Typed in my details several time and keep getting told there is a hiccup with the server. God it's frustrating and want to throw my new card in the bin. If they are going to re brand the changeover should work perfectly
impossible to log in every time I enter my details I get returned to the beginning. a notice tells me my log in details are incorrect please try again. I can log in via the Internet. and yet the app won't have it.. useless and frustratingly annoying. and very inconvenient. I wouldn't recommend this app.. poor form for a bank.
Finally figured it out. I was having trouble getting g this app to work but I figured out the problem. As I was a Orange Cash Card customer already i just needed to use my old log in details to log in. It is now working and I have happy because now I can start using my card again as I didn't want to until I got the app working.
This is one if the best pre-paid card apps. Would have given 5 stars if the one missing key feature were added. Preferably a text message to the registered phone, or an email to the registered address, should be sent at the instant a transaction goes through, just like a cash load, but for spends too, giving details of the transaction. App should have a toggle option to disable sending. A person knows when they have loaded money, but the spend alert will alert to fraudulent transactions. Fraud prevention is perhaps the greatest benefit of pre-paid cards. Adding this feature would make Optimum the clear leader in the UK.
Calls to a Customer Services Advisor are charged at £1, nice because every time i bank transfer my money in i have to phone them to find the money and apply to my account. Now also being charged to pay money in at cash places, scammers.Oh dear something seems to have gone wrong, yeah forever wrong, the UK banking system truly sucks. Im going back to China, everything works there with none of the BS.
Constant technical problems Continual error meaning I can't see my balance, so call the number and their balance provider doesn't work either forcing a £1 call on top of the usual call charges just to be held for ages by customer service who won't tell you your balance... The card is great, the app and customer services not so much. My nearest bank is quite a distance away, hence using the app, worked fine when it was orange cash, but not now... A real pest when someone pays in for you and the transaction takes forever
