Freaking sucks doesn't even help tune your guitar
The Real Deal for Piano Tuning If you would like to attempt to tune a piano with an Android device, then this is the app to use. Inharmonicity calibrations are made by measurements of the fundamental tone and the 2nd partial. The app allows saving 5 custom stretch tables for individual instruments. The "strobe" is easy to read, and appears to be a good combination of sensitivity and averaging. The degree of accuracy may depend on your device, so fortunately a demo version is available here. Considering what a dedicated tuning instrument with custom software of this caliber would cost, $5 is a steal. Note: On my phone, the app would not defeat the system display sleep, so it was necessary to set it to 30 minutes so as not to be interrupted during tuning.
