The OAZ stands for journalism close to the realities of life on the ground – critical in its thinking, open in its dialogue. As an East German voice in the unified German media landscape, we report on politics, economics, society, culture, and science – from a perspective that has been underrepresented.

This app marks our market entry. And it's an invitation: to tell the story of East Germany anew – with nuance, constructively, and without ideological simplifications.
