About this app

Finally understand YOUR gout triggers — not just generic advice that hasn't worked. Urica is the gout tracker app built for people who want answers, not lectures.

Urica is a smart gout tracker that goes beyond simple purine counting. Using AI-powered food scanning and personal pattern analysis, Urica helps you discover what actually causes YOUR flares.

WHY URICA IS DIFFERENT

Traditional gout apps tell you to avoid purines. But here's what they miss: dietary purines only account for about 30% of your uric acid levels. That's why generic gout diet advice often doesn't stop flares.

Urica tracks the full picture:
★ Purines (what you expect)
★ Fructose (hidden factor that affects uric acid excretion)
★ Glycemic load (insulin spikes reduce kidney clearance)
★ Sleep, stress, and hydration patterns

Then our AI finds correlations between YOUR lifestyle and YOUR gout flares.

POWERFUL FEATURES

◆ AI Food Scanner
Photograph any meal for instant analysis. Get purine estimates, fructose content, glycemic impact, and smart swap suggestions — all in seconds.

◆ Gout Flare & Tingle Tracking
Log gout flares with severity and location. Plus, track that "tingle" feeling before a full flare hits — your early warning system.

◆ Personal Trigger Discovery
Our AI analyzes your data over time to identify YOUR specific gout triggers. Not generic lists — patterns unique to your body.

◆ Daily Context Tracking
Log sleep quality, stress levels, and hydration. These factors significantly impact uric acid clearance and gout flare frequency.

◆ Doctor's Report
Export a comprehensive PDF with your gout flare history, dietary patterns, and AI insights to share with your healthcare team.

◆ Protective Foods
We highlight foods that help — cherries, coffee, vitamin C sources — not just what to avoid.

THE SCIENCE-BACKED APPROACH

Gout is primarily an excretion problem, not just a diet problem. Most gout patients are "under-excreters" due to metabolic factors like insulin resistance. Urica is built on this modern understanding of gout management.

We don't lecture. We don't judge. We help you become a scientist studying your own body.

it's good until there's only 3 times you can scan food. the manual logging is annoying because I don't know how much purines are in the food or the glycemic level. it should be like my fitnesspal where it links into a database and you select the foods.

I like the layout and simplicity of everything, but if I'm logging my food, I'd much prefer to see all nutritional details of the food.
