Good for large docs but not for everyday Quick access to movement and editing keys. Best split portrait layout I have seen. Has macro functions not seen on other keyboards. Key layout, though, scrunches keys. Especially enter and return. In landscape, the keys are not large enough. Limited flexibility for layout adjustments. Cannot turn off bottom row when not needed. No swype. Word prediction has been "OK" at best. Summary, good for editing large documents and emails but, for me, there are better keyboards for everyday use that enable faster typing on a 10" tablet.
Great keyboard I have used many keyboards and like a couple of them for various reasons. This one has all the reasons I like in the others plus a tab key and other cool options. The memory footprint is smaller as well. It will take something truly amazing to get me to use any other keyboard from now on.
Finally, a Keyboard With a Tab Key Update 11/27/15: This is still my go-to keyboard but since the update it seems to crash or freeze a lot more. I've uninstalled then reinstalled, and it works fine for a bit. After a long search to find a keyboard with a tab key, I hope whatever bugs are affecting this app can be fixed. I do a lot of fiction writing on my Nexus 7, so I need a functional keyboard. A full five stars if basic emojis are added.
Perfect when ALL predictive nonsense disabled. Pick XT9 keyboard from the list. Setup Input methods next. Go through the menus and shutdown all the fluff predictive crap. Shutdown dictionaries and anything else that looks up stuff every keystroke. Select Tablet Keyboard then, and see how fast you can accurately type WITHOUT stupid Android taking you to never-neverland because predictive made it way too busy to service your keystrokes. Keyboard Tablet now works very fast and accurate, indeed...
T Key pro Upgraded from free program to enhanced version. Excellent keyboard. Better than my native Samsung. However, when I activate the external b/tooth key board the system then reverts to the native KB rather than the T Key ~Pro?
Better than free version? The free version worked, just without predictive elements. The pro version 'tries too hard' and lags somewhat but it's ok. Direction arrows are the reason I went pro & they make editing life a lot easier!
