Pretty good The app itself has some issues being an alarm. I have trouble with not hearing my alarms some mornings due to my phone volume being off, I wish the volume was seperate from my ringtone. Also, I have to remember as I go to bed to turn on all the alarms because there are no preset days to schedule them to go off. The alarm sounds on the other hand are amazing, funny and unique. I just wish the app worked more similarly to other alarms I've had previously.

I like it a lot, especially the idea behind it! And the passion you can tell he put into it. There's room for improvement though I think! Maybe a way to set an alarm so it goes off the same time everyday without me having to keep going into the app every night to set the same alarm. But really, waking up to dog beats or Mr Johnson singing my ass out of bed is a fantastic way to get up. Great alarm clock!

The alarm works pretty decently. Lately though, the Rock's message has been the exact same one for the last 3 weeks. I uninstalled and reinstalled. No change. I do love that there is no snoozing anymore. A bad habit of laying in bed for an extra 45 minutes started 20 years ago, totally gone in a week. Fix the daily messages and it will be the best alarm clock out there.

Why do you have to set it every night? Why is the daily motivational quote the same for months? Why are there only like 3 (of 24) ringtones the The Rock actually saying anything? Why isnt the Rock not being more motivational in the ring tones like "hey bud, its time to wake your ass up and rock today" or "hey jabrony get up and make today successful."

Awesome but motivation quptes stoped playing Thanks dwayne for the motivation! The app is rly cool. Alarm clock is reliable and has awesome ring tones. Maybe add possibility to add more than one project (sort of goals check list) ? Edit: my phone is not playing the motivation quotes, it just gives me a black screen. Possibly a compatibility issue?

Great idea! Needs one thing I absolutely love this app it's amazing and encouraging and of course it's the Rock!!! However one thing that could make it better is if you could set the alarms to go off on certain days of the week. Itd be helpful for running days which day are every other day or maybe just on the weekend you set the alarm later to get an extra hour. That feature would make this app perfect!!!

Some new updates would be much appreciated. Like the ability to rename the name for alarms or some new tunes or selectable from some online source... The Rock messages should change when device time pass through 12am... It rarely changes, like takes days. A rock logo in status bar when alarms are enabled..
I usually like anything Rock related As soon as I heard about this app I downloaded it, the thing is, I mostly didn't like it. For instance you can't have vibration during alarms. I would like my phone to vibrate during the alarm because only the sound isn't enough to wake me up. Could care less about the snooze button, put one on, or don't (as was the purpose here) that's why we have multiple alarms. The aspect I hated the most was that I have to leave the app running in the background or the alarm won't go off.
I would like to hear more interesting lines from Dwayne. An ode du Rock, if you will where he asks if we "can smell what the rock is cooking". Essentially leading up to him yelling at us, in that positive way that only The Rock can deliver.
A life changer for sure Love the sounds and the ability to set goals and use as a real motivational tool. The only thing I might add would be a feature where you could set the amount of kickass slumber you wanted to get and you'd get a reminder when to go to bed based on when your alarm was. Then you could improve your sleep schedule while still being too lazy to do mental math!
Pretty cool if I could rely on it If you do certain things it won't sound. The music clips that come with it are hilarious and the main reason it doesn't get a one star. It also doesn't repeat your alarm, so every day you have to turn the alarm back on. Some people in sure are fine with that, but I'm forgetful.
The Rock is not a good timekeeper. He almost made my candy ass late 3 times in one week. He woke me up at completely random times until today when I broke up with him. I gave him a chance. The 4th time did make me late! And I couldn"t shut him up, he kept going and going.... I had to let him go. Update: New phone and bond with The Rock is back. Enjoy getting the 'wakey, wakey'.
Alarm failed to make a sound I'm the biggest Dwayne fan, and it's not pleasant to admit, that alarm is not working properly. The alarm went off but didn't make a sound for SEVERAL times, although it was set! Unfortunately I can't trust it amymore and always have to set another alarm a few minutes later to make sure I won't be late at work. Please, please, please, RockClock developers, fix it! I haven't seen any response to any comment from the developers, but I really hope you read them. Thank you very much for understanding!
The most electrifying alarm ever I've used quite a number of alarm including the anime ones but they never made me wake up more than this alarm. From the excessive annoying beeping to a empowering crowd roar, every each one of it was truely awesome
Did I miss something? I thought there would be motivational words from Mr Rock. I've had this for a couple days and I still don't get any of that. Cool songs, yes. Neat layout, check. Complexity, meh not really. Goals to work towards, sure but I can do that on a piece of paper. Great idea poor execution.
I've loved the rock clock, but there's some new bug in it. Every time it goes off in the mornings now it only goes off for 2 or 3 seconds before the audio stops. I have no clue why or what might've changed, but after 3 late days to work, I gave up.
It is with heavy heart that I have to delete this app. Unfortunately it has been almost a year since they have updated the daily messages or since The Rock has done an appearances. I know he's a busy guy and so this must have just fallen to the bottom of the list but I really looked forward to that personal touch
Awesome app buuuuuuut... one thing Love the app! Can the developers add in a 24 hrs time option instead of only 12 hrs am and pm??? Been having problems with that since my phone clock is 24hrs and I don't normally worry about am and pm
Could be way better... This app doesn't work well at all. You set your alarm and goal and they reset themselves or don't go off. Nice try, but pure garbage Rock. Put a little more development into your app. It feels rushed to market and now neglected. What successful person has only one goal? You should be able to set multiple goals and make a schedule for yourself. If u only have one thing to do everyday, then your life sucks ass...
VOLUME DOES NOT WORK ANY LONGER. And the Rock is not adding new videos or interacting any longer. DEVELOPERS!!! PLEASE FIX THE SOUND ISSUE!! IT WILL NOT MAKE A SOUND, DESPITE ALL ATTEMPTS TO CHECK ALL SETTINGS ON MY PHONE, INCLUDING UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING THE APP!!!!!
This app started out so strong. Getting exclusive videos from Dwayne was such an awesome way to start the day. But now this feature is completely neglected. The exact same (non-video) message displays everyday. Depressingly un-motivating.
Needs a few basics added. Needs to have alarm to repeat so it doesn't have to be reset daily. Also go be able to select days of week you want alarm to go off. I am afraid I will go to bed and forget to set my 4am alarm. Would 5 star if those features were avaliable.
I would say it's the best clock ever... But that would be shortchanging it - it may be the best app of any type, ever. Love it. The person who thought up Battle Cats alone must be some kind of twisted genius, but there's so...much...more.
Overall I'm impressed. Sounds are good, they get me up. It sucks that you can't have schedules for individual days. My main problem is that my 'todays message' hasn't changed since February
Doesn't work, can't rely on this app to actually go off. Today I woke up to find I had slept in, and found this app on the alarm screen without the sound going off... I really want to use this app, but can't trust it to work. This is the 4th time I've found this app to not work and I've only had it for a little over 1 week.
It "WAS" awesome Now when the alarm goes off and i tap "wake up" it goes to the lock screen.and also i get the same old message from rock always.AND MOST OF ALL NONE IS REPLYING MY MAIL...
Second alarm doesn't fire Great looks and alarms sounds, but the basics must be in order. Second alarm will not fire if "Get after it" button isn't hit (on the goal-setting screen). Also if phone is locked when alarm fires, when the Get up-button is hit the phone locks, with the second screen showing blurred behind. Bad fir first issue. Also, take a look at the default Android Clock alarm for inspiration. One I miss is how long until the just set alarm will fire, shows if I set the alarm wrong. And also recurring alarms in the week
I woke up laughing for the first time ever in my life with the alarm "harp smash". I love this app, I love how it reminds me of my goal first thing in the morning before anything else in my day happens. The only downside is that the app drains my battery by more than 3/4 throughout the night because it keeps my display lit. Still a small price to pay to wake up to the alarms to choose from.
Deeply motivating Love the app. Encouraging, focusing, and can even be light hearted with the alarm tones (some are hilarious) Would love to see more features added overtime. Like workouts that Dwayne does or even more personalized messages. If not the app will fade fast.
Great idea but doesn't work I'm really sorry to give this review. I love the idea, there's much love in the execution, so many hilarious ringtones. But the alarm doesn't go off. Please don't tell me that I'm using it wrong and I have to keep the phone on? That's really not how it's supposed to work. Another weird thing is the Rock Clock , which I thought reflects when he gets up. I always thought he gets up around 4 o'clock, even saying on Instagram that he did so but the Rock Clock seems to be stuck at 6 am.
One thing i ask People at rock clock. I only have 1 request please please please put his wrestling intro song on this app. There is nothing like waking up and the first thing you hear is IF YA SMELL. That would be awesome
Unreliable Alarm on Sony Xperia Alarm cuts out, then doesn't work at all. Could also do with a status bar symbol when alarm activated. Otherwise would be great.
The message isn't working properly Everything about the app is amazing, but the only thing that annoys me is the daily message which abruptly stops within a second. Please fix this because i really love this app
Just one flaw I wanted the classic "the rock" entrance from WWE as my alarm tone, disappointed that wasn't an option. Who wouldn't want to wake up to that.
"sleep button is gone" so you turn it off instead. I'm a heavy sleeper, I thought this would work because "it doesn't have a sleep button". On my phone's alarm clock i tend to just push the side button on my phone, which is the snooze button when in half asleep, then go back to sleep and repeat untill I just sleep through it and it turns itself off. Well the side button just turns the alarm off so it's even less likely to wake me up. Good idea, poor execution.
Good alarm but needs to stay on This app has replaced my normal alarm on my phone but one issue that I have is that the alarms do not stay on day to day. If you use this for a wake up you have to turn it back on each day. Otherwise great alarm app.
I actually like the app when it works. One star only because it stopped sounding two days ago and when I sent an email to the support email, it bounced back as undeliverable. I would love to have my app back again, but since it's not working, one-star. :(
I Loved it sooo much but But the thing is that.... daily Motivational msgs from The Rock are not changing. The same message is showing from the past 4 days. Please help me out, don't let me down Rock
Great idea lacking execution. Cool app, but my Rock Time is always 6:00AM. I e-mailed the developer, but the e-mail bounced back. Seems like this app was abandoned. Bummer deal, it could be really cool.
Won't stay on This would definitely get 5 stars, IF, it would stay on. I have to remember to turn the alarms on every night, which is a hassle. There needs to be a repeat function, which I thought was automatic since you choose an end date for your project.

We've fixed an issue related to alarms not firing on Android 6.0+ devices when not plugged in. We've also fixed a few other little bugs in the app in order to keep things running smoothly.
