A Precept is a general rule, tenet or doctrine intended to regulate behaviour or thought.

The Precept Bible is based on the understanding of the scripture in Isaiah 28:9-10 where it clearly states how scriptures will be taught in the last days. The children of the promise would have forgotten their heritage and identity and all the history that they ought to have known.

They would now require some extensive hand-holding as they are taken from passage to passage, and the understanding of each line of scripture is ellucidated and taught to them precept by precept.

If you want to understand the bible, you will need to be guided by the precepts, which are the keys to unlocking the meanings and intents of its passages in context. Let scripture interpret scripture.

Mad I had to repurchase this app since I just got a new phone, but the app itself is great. Much needed tool for the 12 Tribes. Only critique I have is more color coded options/bookmarks needed and to be able to pull the exact verse up instead of just the chapter and then having to scroll to the verse.

Man I'm so glad this app is back! With all 80 books and countless precepts this is hands down the best Bible app out! 💪🏿

Apocrypha bad, but where's the Book of Enoch. I mean that's why King James bible started. Great app overall with precepts, but please add Book of Enoch. At least Enoch quoted in Genesis about fallen angels screwing women forming giants leading up to the great flood and Noah's Ark. Great app, even can add one's own notes/highlighting but Apocrypha fiction and well if add fiction to the Bible then add Book of Enoch as that book quite interesting fiction wise. Finish the quizzes and add dark mode.

What’s new

Firstly, MAJOR APOLOGIES for everyone who lost notes and bookmarks in our last release. A big issue on our side that we have now fully rectified, so this will not happen again. However, we are still working on restoring the information within your local devices back into your app. This will happen in a later release.
