About this app

Race anywhere, anytime!

World's first automatic, camera-based lap timing app for athletes, coaches, and RC vehicles, including vehicles/multirotors/quad/drones. Great for runners, swimmers, sports (hockey, soccer, etc), anywhere you run drills, training routines, sprints or races. NO TRANSPONDERS, GPS OR EXTRA HARDWARE NEEDED! (and NO ADS)

Works great on an older/spare device (Android 5/Lollipop and up)

4 Modes of operation:

Manual/Tap: record laps for 1-4 racers by screen-tap, or by using headphone/bluetooth device buttons
Motion Detection: use device camera to automatically record laps for a single racer
ColorTrax: use device camera to automatically record laps for 1-4 racers based on a unique color on each racer
Remote Link: listen to a race on your own device, great for spectators, or rc drivers

Using the advance, camera-based modes, you can register a race participant and the app will keep track of the lap times each time they pass by the camera, automatically. Track up to 4 colors or participants with one phone! Great for athletes, coaches, RC vehicles and more!

Fantastic App! I love the display and motion detection! Spoken lap times are tremendously valuable! Works flawlessly on S9+ I would like to see a YouTube video on how to use each function. A listing of laps and times at the end of a race would be nice. It only gives a partial list. I would love to see a Minimum Lap Time option to weed out false double lap captures like what can happen when your RC car crashes in front of the camera. Whomever it was that made this app, Great Work!!!

thanks for the kind words, and suggestions! Be sure to check out the chart/graph feature by swiping left on the main screen. From the chart screen you can export the laptimes by clicking the colortrax/menu button. protocol

I am using this for tiny whoop drone racing practice at home. Amazed at how well it works. I do wish it would allow fixed time races vs fixed lap. Also I wish the first lap time would start when I cross the line vs the countdown Is there a way to donate to the developers? EDIT: It does have a rolling start feature. I struggle to get laps recorded consistently. Some tracks I can find the perfect spot, other times it's a bunch of trial and error and it misses laps occasionally.

Hi, there is a "max-time" mode where you set the max time for a race, and the timer will stop afterwards, is that what you mean? Long-click the clock icon near the bottom-right to activate it. thanks!

Being able to track my lap times and see when I improve is so neat. I've been using the motion mode and when I get it set up correctly it works. Occasionally it won't pick up the car going past and it buggers everything up. What would be nice is instead of using the whole camera but set a zone on the screen so I can potentially overlap over another corner but it only picks up on where my start/finish is on the track.
