terrible design. Decent concept, but the game play is clunky and tedious. It is pay to play if you want any chance at succeeding or even growing your town. Be prepared to spend $1000 a month to compete. the "battles" are riddiculous, especially in cross-state competitions. You can only teleport to certain areas and this forces you to make long, slow marches that the enemy just moves away from. You can only teleport to a new zone by buying special teleports (in cross-state). Terrible game.

This was one of the best games out there. No ads and you can play without having to buy in-game upgrades. Many different styles of play you can choose. BUT, after you grow significant resources enemy alliances destroy everything you have unless you pay big money to become more powerful. there needs to be a mode for people who just want to build things and be left alone. I'm deleting the game, sad.

Lost interest in this game... Pay-To-Play: This game relies on players spending money to progress; and when you do? you'll still be weaker than the high spending players, "whales/krakens," which renders this boring after a few months of playing it... Citadel Progress: After you hit Citadel level 30/31? they have keys that you must eventually purchase in a pack for you to go beyond level 31... No innovation: This game is basically "Return to Empire" (Chinese version). Free yourselves immediately!
