Unimpressed Tying software features such as location based auto recording (which would surely reduce the amount of traffic / uploads on YCam servers, whilst being a very useful feature) to annual extra cost Plus subscriptions just makes me feel ripped off as a customer and definitely puts me off buying more or recommending YCam hardware.
Useless Load of rubbish picks and chooses what to upload, can never see the live view always says unable to connect to camera - dont waste your money but another brand! !
Was working fine before update Was happy apart from sometimes getting an error trying to connect to camera on occasions on older version but since update I can't seem to access camera archives at all from app. They are fine on pc but not s3. Exact same problem on my other phone as well when trying to see archive. All else seems fine so far
OK but some issues Since the new version I can no longer view the cam in landscape which means a semi useless tiny view. Old version switched when phone was rotated. I have a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. Also when an email alert fires the recording is never there until much later which kind of reduces it's usefulness. Can't tell if location feature is working as I get no notification even though it is set to tell me when I leave or arrive. Don't know if these are universal issues or just me.
Does exactly what I want Easy set up. Clear picture. Records movements as it states. Will probably be buying another camera for upstairs so I know that area is covered.
Oops Server Error Title says it all. Cannot access app either via Android or iPhone. System now unusable. Don't they do dummy runs before launching an update?
