About this app

Blur Face - hide faces and sensitive info in your photos with one tap.

Share the moment, not people's identities. Blur Face automatically finds every face in your photo so you can blur them all instantly - or cover them with an emoji. You can also blur anything else: license plates, documents, screens, names. Your photos are processed on your device and never uploaded.

🤖 AUTOMATIC FACE DETECTION
On-device face detection finds every face in the photo. Blur them all with a single tap - and unblur them just as fast if you change your mind.

😀 EMOJI COVERS
Prefer fun over blur? Cover faces with the emoji of your choice instead.

✏️ BLUR ANYTHING
Not just faces - select any area of the image to blur license plates, addresses, signatures, or anything you'd rather keep private.

🎚️ MAKE IT YOURS
Adjust the blur intensity and choose between rounded and rectangular blur shapes.

🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Face detection runs entirely on your device - your photos are never uploaded anywhere.

⚡ FAST & SIMPLE
Pick a photo, tap, done. Edit multiple photos at once, save them as copies or replace the originals, and share straight from the app.

PERFECT FOR:
👶 Sharing photos of your kids safely
🚗 Hiding license plates
📄 Censoring documents & screenshots
👥 Posting crowd photos without exposing strangers

Free and private. Download Blur Face and protect your first photo in seconds.

Looks like a lot of potential here, but I'm unable to get bulk processing to work. When I try to select photos through the app, the image picker that comes up only lets me select one photo at a time. When I try to share a batch of images from Google Photos to the app, they will show up in the app, but the bottom of the screen is covered with a black bar and there's no way to advance from that page. The privacy focus is important though, wish I could use this.

Hi thanks a lot for reporting this, it looks like sharing multiple photos with the app triggers a bad state. Currently bulk processing is not supported in this app, but we do have plans to improve this in the coming months.

This app is fantastic, pwrfect. The ads are in the way, they jeavily hinder the operation of the app that would otherwise be smooth to operate. But that is bearable when you need to try it before investing tour Euros in it. = I understand that it is a way to convince me to invest some euros in buying licence to buy it in its ad-less perpetual version: it will be the best way to acknowledge the good job that its creators have done, and to thank them.

Hey Alberto, thanks for the awesome review! We totally get that ads can be a bit annoying, but they're necessary to keep the app free for everyone. We appreciate your understanding and support! If you decide to go for the ad-less version, we think you'll love it even more. Cheers!

It costs $6.99/week - that's $363 a year. Not worth it.

Hey Shirley, the weekly plan is intended for short term usage, some people prefer that. We also have a lifetime plan that is much more convenient for long term usage. You can also use the app entirely for free with ads. Could you please consider updating your review?
