This app has three modes to compress images:
1. Quick Compress: The easiest way to compress photos. Simply select the amount of compression and click “compress”, the app will optimize the image to save space while looking as good as the original.
2. Compress to a specific file size: You specify the size of the photo in KB (kilobytes), press "compress" and let the app to the optimizations. This feature is recommended when you need to compress photos to an exact file size.
3. Manual: here you can manually select the desired width and height of the image, as well as the compression amount. This mode gives you full control on the compression and resizing process.

Each mode supports batch compression and batch resizing.

This is an outstanding image compression application. It is simple to use. And it's slider gives you precise control as to the size/quality of your compressed images. It is extremely fast! And the resulting image compression quality will be as selected by you (it rapidly resized numerous 6MB+ images to less than 400KB. And I was delighted wirh the results) The compression market is huge. But due to my own previous poor experences with other apps I'm compelled to leave a positive testimony.

Compression element works well but 7 ads, including 2 video ads, for ONE simple photo of a monitoring device reading of a small LCD screen. It stripped out the time stamp so no way of knowing when the image was taken. Considering I need it record keeping of device readings over time, that's a problem. Can't find any settings. Too basic. I wanted to save time by shrinking file size to make transfer between devices faster. With ad time, it took triple the time per image to do. Uninstalled.

The best thing about this app is its various options to have an output with a designated file size with a pre-image for our reference, while keeping a not-too-bad quality even at a very small size. Many other similar apps do not offer so many options. Highly recommended.
