The KMUW Public Radio App:

The KMUW Public Radio App allows you to listen to KMUW, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for KMUW Public Radio all at once! You can explore and listen to On Demand content whenever you want, share stories with your friends and wake up to KMUW with the alarm clock!

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from KMUW even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing.
• Integrated program schedules for KMUW streams!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to KMUW Public Radio in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!

On Demand
• Access KMUW's past programs easily and quickly.

• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.

2026 -- I'm updating my '21 review where I have it a 1 star due to so many glitches.. I haven't had any of those issues in years. It works very well now and is an app I rely on. good variety of access to the various shows. only think I'm not a fan of is it's frequently playing 15-30 secs of The Range instead of going to the live feed. You must select the Live Feed in the lower left corner in order to go to the currently playing live program.

Fantastic! Great to be able to get to the live broadcast so much easier than in the NPR One app. The donation function needs work. I was trying to donate under the wire to take advantage of matching funds but it took too long to load the web page, do 7 screens of the "I'm not a robot" junk, etc. that I missed the matching funds by 1 minute. 😫

Loads content fairly quickly. Can pause. Can loop back, up to 7 minutes to listen again. Happy to have this quick link to my favorite station!
