HIGHLY recommend trying it as simple, free, elegant solution 2 a serious issue. If problems, click icon after install or reboot to restart: works great after that. Occasionaly needs uninstall/re-install 2 make work right/promptly.... & that's OK, easily done. problem probably my phone or 1 of 400 possibly conflicting app(s) & not this app itself. (Spinner Interface represents a 12 hour clock face from CURRENT time). CONFLICTS WITH "Safe Sleep Alarm Clock" app on my SSG Note 2 and doesn't really seem to work properly on my Moto X Pure
The app is great and would give it 5 stars but my phone (GS7) was just updated to Android Nougat and this app no longer works. It allows me to set the time to re-engage the sound but it never happens. Fizz Buzz PLEASE FIX!!! Not sure what happened but SHUSH is now working again. GREAT APP!!!
Loved it, but now causes Perfectly Clear app to not work on Galaxy 5. Let's get together with those guys and get it fixed! No excuse for this conflict. UPDATE: Fizz Buzz responded, admitted the problem and kept me posted on the fix. The latest version works great. Very impressed with the company and their app.
After using the app for a couple of years tonight it quit working. 5 stars until it quit. I found that Shush had a software conflict with another app. The solution they gave me did not work. Shush would not turn on until I deleted the other app.
Use to work, now nothing. Will miss it. Reply to reply. Then explain why i can test while in my hand. And it will not respond as i toggle sssound and silent. Un then reinstall and yry every ting i cam test to get to work. Sure when phone sleeps is a hoodexcuse but explain an active phone not working. Lame excuses make me angry.
2 stars now...Ringer does not restore on a GS7. power saver off. previous review: 4stars Works well. Still needs a button to quickly turn on the ringer rather than cycling thru vibrate and off, and back to on again.
15.3: Fix for interference with video recording apps. To detect when the camera is in use, camera permission is needed. This is optional in Android 6+, but if you don't give permission, Shush! can't tell that you're using the camera, and may pop up during video recording.
15.2: fix for failure to pop up on some devices. Temporarily removed camera permission and the associated check for "camera in use", as this was contributing to the problem. Will add the camera check back later.
