Love the PC version... Would love more functionality out of this version. Tagging/highlighting/etc, maybe a better interface. Better tablet options perhaps? Would be a fantastic aid to tech-age PhD students (i.e. me). In any case, it's arguably the best android version out there that I've tried, so there's not much to complain about here. Edit : 3 years without any updates to the software. Stop advertising support on Android if there is next to none. Knocked down a couple stars.

Terrible app, it has made the half decent Qiqqa Window's app redundant The only reason I got this app was because I thought it would have stylus support as does the Window's version. However, this did not materialize unfortunately. What was provided to us on android was a rather pathetic version of a child's attempt at an app that pales instantly in comparison with the original. The app constantly crashes and is pointless.

Could be better 5 star because it's still a work in progress but would be much better if u could sideload pdf's directly from android client to cloud. UPDATE: after so many years, it's no longer a work in progress, it is an ugly app. The desktops updates every month but this android version is not getting an update!

Currently useless Android's move to lollipop meant the menu button was no longer part of the operating system. As such, it is impossible to synchronise with the server as this is the only place Qiqqa appears to have the commands. I have tried long pushes, swipes, pull downs and anything else I can think of. Currently in a meeting having relied on my phone and trying to retrieve my document... There is no way on android lollipop that I can see. Earlier versions were fine.

Needs Work I initially had some trouble downloading the files from my desktop app. But then I found out that if you sync the library to your web library that facilitates downloading the files onto the phone. The mobile app is still missing some decent functionality like on the desktop app but it is still a work in progress at best.

Gone backwards Stopped downloading any article to tablet. Great while it did. The basic problem with qiqqa is zero user support and no diagnostics. User is continually flying blind. This touch and go means that premium membership is expensive

Qiqqa android does not work with Samsung TabS8.4 When opened Qiqqa the Menu options does not appear. The library panel only shows the Guest library. It does not reflect the libraries I'd built from the Desktop Qiqqa. Hence a 2 star mark..
Useless app It is high time that Qiqqa sorts out this useless app, especially sine the desktop version works so well. Now that Mendeley is actively developing an app for android, I suspect that Qiqqa may see a significant migration of users back to Mendeley - we have been waiting far too long for a good reference manager for android. The current Qiqqa version is useless!
Sad Very sad. I bought a license in 2013 in the hope the android app would get better in time but it didnt change at all. Very poor app in contrast to the awesome desktop version. I will only renew my license with them if i see progress in the app again.
Updated Nov 2012? This app is a bad joke. So much potential, especially since Endnote and others still don't offer and Android client, and all wasted! And you advertise this!! My own library can't be seen, only some Guest library which is empty. Guys, I almost paid for Pro, only for ability to the sync. Do something, or stop advertising this. Misleading. Sorry -- this should be pulled from Google Play.
Pale shadow of the Windows version... ...but holds great promise!! Hopefully the developers have sense to concentrate on other platforms than Windows! I'm using Galaxy Note 10.1 so stylus annotation/writing would be very nice.
Last update in 2012? Are you kidding me? No functionality, libraries not opening. Only showing my guest library and not my main library. How is it that with such good desktop apps , there is no investment in the app?
Mediocre companion for a wonderful desktop software I have been using Qiqqa desktop for a few months now, and I think it's by far the best all-in-one reference manager out there. Unfortunately, the Qiqqa android app is definitely not on the same level. Among the problems, the biggest is probably the inability to highlight pdfs, which makes it practically useless for my needs--the whole point of having Qiqqa on a tablet would be to read/note/highlight on Android and syncing with the desktop version. Particularly in a world where being "on the go" is more and
Frustratingly small text I use qiqqa premium on my desktop - it's great. Android version is much further behind. One of the most frustrating things is that one can't zoom in to the text! It zooms in to just under a page width, which is impossible to read without a magnifying glass. Syncing and tags etc seem to work fine.
Disappointing I'm a big fan of the Qiqqa desktop app, but this is a poor companion to it. At the very least, a PDF highlighting tool would be necessary for it to be useful. As is, I have to use other apps to read and annotate on my tablet , and the annotations can't be imported back into Qiqqa for reference on my Desktop. This makes the Desktop app redundant. I've switched back over to Mendeley, which has much better Android support, but I'm eagerly awaiting an update (come on, it's been three years!).
Overall good pruduct but behind the client on functionality Would rate higher but would like some filters on the library based on reading stage. PLUS some of the additional annotation tools available in the windows version would be nice, i.e. highlight, draw Overall Qiqqa as a peoduct is brilliant but themobile version is lacking some what behind the client version
Wish I had this bad boy when I was doing my PhD. The title says it all. Life would have been easier. A must for a career researcher. Couple it with the PC version for maximum value.
Does not work I have a Samsung note pro 12. I have the same problem as the previous commenter. I love qiqqa desktop version and I am a paid member. This is a deal breaker for me. I am thinking not to renew the subscription.
Android version not quite ready The Windows version of this program is great, but the android version is barely more than a pdf reader. You can't even add new pdfs to your libraries from the android version. Rendering of pdfs is also painfully slow.
Outdated It's functional I guess but now a very long way behind the desktop version, looks amd feels like it was cheaply built about 3 years ago.
need more improvement I love the Windows version but not so much I can do with Android version. please add highlighting features, at least.
A sadly premature app I had some great hopes when I first saw the windows app. I was a bit sad when I realized that there is no app for Unix which is quite common if you are doing research. But the the worst part is the android app, it is definitely a beta version and far away from being complete. I know that I shouldn't be expecting an editor as strong as Note Anytime or another decent note taking program but I felt like I was a monkey just tapping to screen to see something happening. Hope you can fix this soon.
Need an update and the sooner the better I am unable to upload my notes to the desktop version which is VERY limiting.
No synced library Unable to sync library, unsure why apart from 'guest library' there is no other buttons that i can click. Although my desktop app has files inside, it isn't syncing with the mobile account
Love the pc version. This app seems to be unable to see my libraries
Very unstable The application crashes everytime I try to add an annotation.
Forced registration, forced cloud, no update in 5 years, appallingly bad UI, uninstalled after 10 minutes
Doesn't work with new Android versions No way of accessing functions
Can't use it Tells me I don't need an account to open a pdf, but won't let me go beyond the login screen, and when I try to open one from my file explorer, it does nothing, I assume because it also does not support encrypted files...
Useless Not user friendly notation, useless required registration
Ancient interface, crashes almost immediately, no functionality.
The desktop version is very good. I'm delightfully waiting for improvements in android app.
Not working in Samsung J7 It is not working in samsung galaxy J7. It is showing only guest libraray
Great app for pdf files Works great , once you become use to, then its easy to use
Still waiting for upgrades Highlights is a very necessary function it should be taken from the desktop to the android app
