Gary 311 is a free application for Gary, IN that allows users to report community issues, pinpoint the issue location with GPS, and attach photos right from your Smart Phone. Now, no matter where you are within Gary city limits, you can help City officials respond faster by identifying potholes, downed trees, streetlights in need of repair, etc. You can even request a recycle bin! Subscribers will also receive status updates as their reported issues are resolved.

The app itself would be a great thing if the city of Gary would follow up on complaints and do something about the issues. Code enforcement has done absolutely nothing about numerous complaints I've made about a hoarder across the street from me for two years. I got Mayor Karen Freemon and 1st District Councilman Godwin involved and still nothing. Rendering this app useless. Very disappointed in the city of Gary.

This would be a great app, except I don't think anyone from the city actually works it. Submitted a quest 7/11/2020 and no one has responded.
