Radio Hogeland is an internet radio station located in the municipality of Het Hogeland with an occasional event broadcast on the FM. The music you hear with us is very varied and mainly from Dutch soil, interspersed with Schlagers, Folk music, Golden Oldies and Pop music.
Radio Hogeland was founded in 2018 after the former pirate and later event channel “Lozze Vogels” decided to stop their annual Christmas marathon.
Still, we thought it was a shame and decided to continue the tradition for a while, but in a smaller “radio as radio is meant to be” setting and under a new name, better suited to the region. We currently broadcast 24/7 over the internet.
Radio Hogeland consists of a growing team of enthusiastic people with radio in their blood, from (ex)pirate to professional radio DJs. The range of music is therefore very varied.
Making radio is not possible without listeners. We therefore find the interaction with our listeners very important. Request songs, games, live on the broadcast, everything is possible depending on what the live DJ is going to do so keep an eye on us. Check out our live programming regularly
