This app uses Device Administrator permissions for the Antitheft feature to lock and locate your device or wipe device data if it is lost or stolen.
Accessibility permission is required to enable the Web Security feature which provides protection against fraudulent/malicious and phishing link, as we block the URLs once our antivirus product raises suspicion and prompt the user to close the link; thus, protecting the user.
All File Access permission is required to allow full scanning of all the files available on the device's internal storage such as photos, videos, files, etc. as the Deep Scan feature cannot access these files by default.

Ratings and reviews

I did my homework and this was among the best of the best in a recent test of Android anti virus and security apps. The pricing I also good. It was a bit complicated to install and have it all set up, but now it's running smoothly and takes care of a lot of security issue in addition to viruses and malware. Seems to be the one go get if you care about security and safety while not wanting to pay a lot.

The app is too slow. The whole interface looks like a cartoon. Keeps sending notification every 30min/hour. Keeps saying that USB debugging is on, Developer Option is on, but I have that option turned off. Randomly saying that the WiFi is not secure, while my device is only connected to my home WiFi. It was my worst decision that I have purchased 3 Years subscription. Not recommended at all. Kaspersky is far better than this.

Quickheal is still nowhere near being a reliable product. Suddenly my security score is reduced to 850 coz metaprotect was not signed up. when I tried to sign up it says use password thar was used to register earlier.😀 when ivused the correct password, app says already signed up. Suddenly now security score is 1000 again. The product is not dependable avoid Quickheal at all cost.
