Best Evernote alternative Really good app, it is the best alternative to Evernote that I can find. It has the built-in chat and most of the same features. The only setback with this app is it won't let you add multiple photos to a document at once. Only one photo at a time. I'm hoping I will see this added in the future. But the app works very well, and is the best one I found comparable to evernote. Unfortunately the import from Evernote feature doesn't work. But 4 stars on the rest of it. Please add multi photo selection
Not working at all I downloaded this as a replacement for Evernote. Works pretty well on the computer and on my phone. However as soon as I downloaded it onto my tablet, a Google pixel C, it crashes every single time I try and do anything. Not sure what's going on but I will relook at my review once this issue is fixed.
Quip Sucks One of the primary reasons that many of us like Android is it is based on Linux and the open source ideals. As such, those of us who have been using the Linux operating system for years, expect to use applications writen for Android that can be utilized with the file formats we are accustomed to. An office suite written for Android should include the ability to edit open document format documents or odts. Quip can open the document but only by "importing" and all of the formatting is stripped from the document rendering it a useless app for those of us who avoid Windows and Windows apps like the plague. I have been using Linux since 1999 and have functioned just fine without Windows apps. I don't need just another Windows app for my Android devices.
Import from Evernote note is not work. The device is Nexus 5x. [Update] So I could manage to import all Evernote notes through web interface. Good luck!
Like the idea Using only mobile version: it seems limited. I like that it imports word docs and I can create check lists easily (although it says unable to import (from Gmail) every time. When I select text to share in other apps, quip appears in share list but when I choose to send to quip it doesn't, no failure notice either.
Best document and checklist app I've tried It saves automatically which is a big plus, I love that you can share documents really easily, and tha t you can group your documents into folders.
