Still the same Works as described but there is a delay with it. Some items don't refresh immediately so I wish there was a "refresh" button. Other features that would be nice are: a) Settings for notification tone specific to Wink or wink product so I can distinguish the difference between getting an text message and someone opening my front door. b) Status widgets showing the status of various products i.e. Status of my doors, lights, etc.
Had problems but working now Had connection problems, but called the company and was waked though the steps to correct it. Wrote a 1 star review in frustration last night, but the problem was my phone, as using another device to connect the hub worked. Trying to add a new bulb and it doesn't connect now. Problems with this app obviously. Aside from that, it's nice to use Alexa to turn the lights on and off.
Works better than it did 6mo ago Keeps on getting better and better. Over the two years the software has gotten to the point that it works very well and as expected. I still occasionally loose a bulb or two and have to reconnect but I'm not sure if the fault of zigbee, hardware firmware, or the variables of wireless.
Scheduled events still not working after "fix" Previously scheduled events that used to work no longer do. Possibly due to the last update. Pretty annoying since this is why I bought this system. Worked ok before after a bunch of finicking around. Update: Still not working after the attempted fix.
Convenience & security When we leave on trips I like to have the house look like someone is home. Setting the outside lights to go on and off with sunrise and sunset - and never having to think about what they're doing, even when we're home - is fantastic!
Works well for my lighting needs I have 9 bulbs setup in my house. Work great on schedules. I have a them on my garage and porch to allow me to keep only the porch on all night to save electricity. Only complaint was that the range can be an issue if you don't have a lot of devices for the mesh network to function. Also there is a bit of a delay on a few bulbs and I can't figure out why.
-We now support two new iHome SmartPlug products, the iSP6 and iSP8, which allow you to control the devices plugged into them via remote control or the Wink app.
-The Wink app reflects Canary’s updated API. The new modes are “Away,” “Night,” and “Home.” “Private” is a toggle that turns the camera and microphone off no matter what mode you are in.
