Incognito blocking sucks 3 problems: 1. Only blocks chrome and stock browser, you can get around it by downloading any other browser 2. Incognito blocker will block any page that uses data w/o switching pages e.g. Google images, YouTube, etc. If you turn it off then incognito mode bypasses the filter 3. It doesn't filter the Internet very well, you can reach inappropriate sites with it enabled
Currently broken on Nexus devices Since the latest updates to qustodio and/or Nexus (and maybe other android devices) software, qustodio's protection will fail after every reboot of the device. Only manually stopping and restarting the protection from within qustodio will enable it again, but only until the next reboot. This makes the app pretty much useless of course.
Where is the parental control dashboard Hi just downloaded to my phone to monitor the use on the devices linked.....it only will allow me to either pick my son or add a new child?!! Where can I monitor on my smartphone??
Good but very flawed VERY OFTEN blocks chrome pages even when it's not incognito or anything bad. But it tells me that it is in incognito mode. Super super annoying
I removed my original review when I found that you can block Chrome. Chrome has incognito which doesn't show up in the Qustodio activity page. But by blocking Chrome altogether, incognito is not a loophole anymore.
- New protection against app uninstall by kids
- New feature: Remove Qustodio. Helps parents safely uninstall Qustodio from inside the app
- Added support for Android 5.1.1
IMPORTANT: Qustodio prevents itself from being easily uninstalled by kids by dragging the app to the trash. Parents can safely uninstall by logging in to the app and clicking on Disable protection > Remove Qustodio.
