Paywall. The reason to buy is because you want to print your own stuff, not generic sticker. You get one shot to print your own image, but you can't find out what your picture will look like until you've used up your free download. I wanted to print out a form so that I could have it with me but the writing was intelligible so I wasn't able to use it anyway. then I wanted to download and print something else but I found out I couldn't because I had already downloaded a useless form.

SCAM! ....maybe not, but very poorly thought thru design. a "premium" level of their software was created, and many of its design elements are dumped in amongst the free, making it an annoying task to search out the free use items. cant use printer without paying monthly subscription!, uh wait... thats what happens when you use the paid elements, distinguished by a "crown" on the elements selection button. You wont know this until you do some research on google. bad design.

I bought the printer expecting to be able to use it right out of the box, but the app is essentially paywalled. It feels like 98% of the useful features require a subscription, making the printer nearly useless without paying even more after you've already purchased the hardware. Even after subscribing, you're still hit with limits on how much you can actually use certain features. Customers shouldn't have to buy a printer and then pay an ongoing subscription just to access basic functions.
