While I like the books I have been reading, I don't appreciate the underhandedness of forcing people into a paid situation. Don't advertise as a free reading app, offer ways to earn free coins and unlock chapters with ads - then take it away after awhile. Totally bad for business. **UPDATE: Since this seems to be the only way to get developer attention, here goes. This app isn't for you if you don't want to get scammed out of your time or money. chapters don't drop, coins and ads disappear...

I had a monthly subscription that allowed me to read unlimited. I went to renew and to switch to their yearly subscription but that option is no longer available, only coin subscription. And, what is actually frustrating is that I can't download the books. Once your subscription end, all the chapters you've read get locked again. That feels unfair and like thievery. Frankly, I'm disappointed.

I made a purchase (for 20 chapters) to continue reading a story that I didn't want to wait 12 hours to get more ads to watch for free chapters, and from that moment on I NO LONGER GET ADS TO WATCH FOR FREE CHAPTERS. They expect me to buy chapters from here on out and It's ridiculously expensive, so NO. Bye. I'm going to get myself a Kindle. I sent an email to NovelBar asking why I don't get ads for free chapters anymore and they couldn't be bothered to respond. 1 star, do not recommend.
