Content is mostly US centric, it should be an even mix from around the globe. Ability to optionally download gifs to save data etc. night mode needed according to time detected on device or simple option of night mode.Categorise the news topics, so we can have the quartz experience with the topics of our choice.Dual approach (App view- message news system & Web view- article system). Regional selection not available
Great idea! But a lot of improvements required: 1) The content seems to be mostly US centric, it should be an even mix from around the globe. 2) Ability to optionally download gifs to save data etc. 3) Some sort of night mode 4) Categorise the news topics, so we can have the quartz experience with the topics of our choice.
Thank you! Finally! I love Quartz. Unusual way of doing the news, too! Would love to see editions, though. There's a skew towards US news, but I'd really love Qz Africa. Also, please allow me to turn off images and gifs.
I really like this app. But, I believe there are improvements to be made. For example, I hope the app can provide the users news topics to search from, so more suitable news can be served to them. Furthermore, allow more types of replies for users (e.g. "Earthquake occured" "when?"/"where?"/"what I do to help?"). So the news can be more detailed, yet also shorter for its audiences.
I like the App conceptually but in its current state it doesn't cater enough to me to justify space on my phone or in my life. Needs; - Localised content capability - Subject matter opt in/out - Push notification time period limiter All fixable. Will check it again in 6 months to see if it's catering to a wider audience.
HATE ANIMATED GIFS. Want the option to turn them off. They are distracting. Good information; like the side links to references for more information. Could care less about the chat style.
Thanks for the warm welcome, Android users! This version fixes an issue that prevented your notification preferences from saving correctly in certain cases.
