Being disabled is not inevitable. While it is clear that having a disability makes life a little more difficult for an individual, this in no way justifies their social and professional intellectual incapacity. Let's give disabled people the same chance and promote them.

This is the spirit that prompted the vote and promulgation of Law 2017-06 on the protection and promotion of people with disabilities in the Republic of Benin.

In 79 articles, this law voted by the deputies of the national assembly on April 13, 2017, specifies the conditions of treatment of people with disabilities in order to allow them to express their full potential.
