5 down to 1 stars. The icon went from being the prettiest in the world to the worst design ever. Update... Willfully ignored user sentiment by keeping the crappy icon. LMAO
Awesome app I have this app and smartchord, this one seems to have way more content, plus the amount of scales are awesome! For as cheap as this is, you need it as a guitarist, and even as a pianist you could switch it over to piano. It's like the price of a coffee and donut or a sandwich. You can press play and the scales play on smartchord, I was dissapointed cause I hought chord! Didn't have that, but you just run your finger over the scale and it plays forward, backward qnd note by note, so that is super useful
Great Tool This app is fantastic. I do seem to have some issues when playing back sounds. The notes sometimes do not play a sound or its delayed. This is not a deal breaker for me and I recommend this application to anyone.
BEST GUITAR APP! It was a privilege to help Tom with music theory for the CHORD! update. I've been playing guitar for 39 years, but since my neck broke 11 years ago it's difficult for me to play. However, I still write music and study music theory obsessively, so for me this app is priceless! I can write chord progressions and then figure out which inversions I want to use right on my phone! CHORD! also enables me to hear chord fingerings I never used before. Favorite app ever: the possibilities are endless.-- BHAKTI BROPHY
Great app, some problems I've had this app for over a year now and it works pretty well. Recently I've been having really strange ui glitches like notes in all the menus being delayed and not playing and just lagging in general. My phone runs fine; when I start using Chord! for a while it starts acting up. Great app otherwise.
Excellent little app! Very useful tool. Have used the free version for a while but have decided to purchase the full version. Love the reverse chord look up facility. Trying to learn some beginner jazz standards and this is a great help for looking up chords and constructing them and checking they are right. Would be the icing on the cake if you could enter a chord progression to use as a backing track. Possibly idea for another app or a new version?
