Powerful, but with Odd Omission Excellent but disappointed that the chords note assignments aren't in colour as they are in the screenshot. In fact, that was the thing I was looking for. Having them in colour is useful for immediate recognition of the note distribution, inclusions and omissions (eg 1, 3, 7, 9) in complex chords, where one runs out of fingers. Does the paid version "Chord! Finder" include the colours that appear in the screenshots?
Surprisingly Awesome I used to just go on ultimate guitars website but now they're constantly telling me to pay for their stupid app. I decided to give this a try and it surprisingly has a lot of songs. I wasn't expecting to find Temples on here but there it was. Highly recommended tab app.
Great but... It was set for guitar, now it's set to bass. I don't know how to change back. Settings are not quite intuitive.
Loved this app but recently it only showed 4 strings which might be useful for some of my friends' guitars but mine still has 6 thus the issues. Reinstalling now to see if that fixes it. UPDATE: fixed it and it's back to being great.
Nice Interface! Have to edit my previous 1-star review because the app is MORE full featured that I first realized. There is a "Tuning" mode, that offers alternate tunings for guitar, bass, banjo, etc. The selected tuning mode carries over to the chords and scales portion of the app. Very nice! Lots of different fingerings for chords based on bass root, or not. Stable operation on Samsung Galaxy S5.
Very useful for songwriting Love how easy it is to decide how to name chords (reverse lookup) and find ALL the possible fingerings. Love all the weirdo scales, as well.
• Full translation of the app in Simplified Chinese (zh-HANS);
• Fingerings with only one finger or only one fret wide can be searched;
• Fixed some scales keys miscalculations;
• Fixed display glitches on KitKat;
• Fixed some crash during rotation on JellyBean;
• Other minor bugs fixed;
