Local News / Info / Weather and Traffic - plus the best in new and older music. LDR is for the mature listener. Broadcasting 24/ 7 and Live from 07:00am until 23:00 with over 40 presenters. You will hear every genre during the day, with specialist programmes in the evenings. Lake District Radio is your truly local Radio Station, broadcasting from our studios right at water’s edge … on the Western shores of Lake Windermere – just 4 miles South of Hawkshead – 3 miles North of Lakeside.
Our presenters are all local, and love to hear from you in regard to local events / happenings / weather / travel and traffic reports. Our target audience ( during the day times ) is mature listeners with the station having a younger slant into the late evenings. We can do outside broadcasts from anywhere ( seriously – anywhere 😊 ), and have our own Outside Broadcast Unit available to broadcast from your event, business, or even your home. Available on over 20 platforms including Apps / Smart Speakers / Tablets - via the internet / Home PC's and in your car
