Update: Audacy commercials are now inserted during other shows. This app has always drained my battery. The recent update also crashes with a "critical event" notification. When it's not crashing, live radio plays for a very short time, then stops. Pause/play feature also is sketchy because after a few minutes of recorded playing, it'll skip to live. There are definitely better apps out there for podcasts, but if you need a specific station, you're stuck.

2022-Worst app I have ever used!!!! It would just stop live feed every 15 minutes. Now after the update, the app keeps crashing. You have to force stop the app and reopen it. 2025 - Still doing the same thing. While listening, the app will buffer and hours or it will crash. I can listen to iheart radio and and other radio apps and do not have any issues. It is not an internet problem it is an issue with the app. Please fix! It has been over 2 years now.

Audacy is one of the worst apps I have ever used. It can't reliably do its most basic function: playing a radio feed. Most of the time, the audio simply stops after coming back from a commercial break. In the worst cases, the feed crashes so bad that the only way to get it back is to close the app and clear the cache. This has been a long recurring problem over more than a year. I have tried with different phones, including Pixel 7 and Samsung Galaxy S24. The problem is the app.
