Recently there seems to be a change to how ads work. It use to play an ad when you before the radio would play, which I was OK with. Whereas now ther is a visual ad before you can listen to the radio play but then the radio interrupt a few minutes into listening to the radio, the radio will be interrupted with an audio ad. Very annoying that th song you are listening to interrupted with the being no ability to prevent it. App was perfectly good before this change.

Overall functionality is good. But advertisements at start up are quite intrusive. And they are those annoying type that put the x right up in the corner beside some other clickable option and make it hard to hit. This is fine for me but I imagine for a non-tech literate older person trying to use this they may find this confusing as adds also play audio and sometimes option to close is not clear. I understand adds may be needed for revenue but I think they could be better placed

The issue was not with this app, but a third party app provider. The support from the Radio Ireland FM app provider is excellent and very quick responses. When screen locks the app stops playing the current station. Checked setting and are as per instructions. Still the same problem, when screen locks the app stops working after 2 minutes, when you then unlock the phone the app starts working again without any other actions. The issue was not with the app, but a third party app provider.
