Birdle is a daily guessing game for bird lovers!
The goal is to guess the bird and its characteristics in 5 guesses or fewer.

Listen to the bird call and watch the bird image reveal after each guess.
It's fun for all levels, from beginners to hard core birders.

The game is being developed in cooperation with BirdLife South Africa, with the purpose of raising awareness for birds and their conservation status, while also inspiring more people to go birding.

Birdle is great for challenging one's knowledge as well as honing one's skills at identifying birds around the world.

Never imagined that an app that can be used to learn more about birds .. the UI is pretty decent too .. plus, love that there's a bird sound that's part of the question .. now we can actually learn what each bird sounds like as well as learn more about their habitats and activities. 5/5. definitely would recommend.

Would be great if we could hear how the Maori names are pronounced rather than taking a unfortunate stab in the dark. Other than that, this app great. Especially if you combine it with Merlin Bird ID app when you are out & about.

Been doing wordle for a long time through the browser and happy to have it in an app. Would have been nice to carry over my statistics.. A method of keeping that by creating an account could be useful. Also, hope to see a few other small add-ons in the future? Increasing the time spent on the app focusing on birds and birding. Forum sections, possibly?
