Money Grab App is free to download but comes with everything you want to see locked. To unlock House Stark for instance would cost you 3 or 4 dollars. They have about 10 categories with tens to hundreds of sub categories in each category. Its a cool idea but everything should come unlocked. Nobody wants to pay that much for the app. The writers of the world of ice and fire should feel fortunate that GRRM lets them write a book and make money off his success. It would cost hundreds of dollars to unlock everything.
Nice reference tool Really cool way to follow along in the books. If you forget who a character is, want to follow the journey of a certain character through the world map or want to study up on different groups in the books, it's all there. Only issue is that it crashes pretty often when looking at maps. Seems like it can't handle all the content. Anyways, definitely worth it if you're a big fan of the books, currently reading the books or just like the show.
Nice content, UI not so much For fans of the books, and to a lesser extent, fans of the HBO series, this is a useful aid for keeping track of who's who and what's where. Unfortunately, at least on my devices, it is prone to 'stop working', particularly when navigating back from followed links, and navigation doesn't always behave as expected. Would love to see some of these kinks worked out, as well as more content contrasting the difference in storylines between the novels and the TV show.
I can't use all of the Journey map features for some reason even though I bought the 5 bloody InfoPacks! What the hell is this?! Am I supposed to give you the money and be left without the access to the travels of guys like Victarion?! Apart from that, good app. Like the details, art and well written pages. Very caring for detail. And if you are wondering if my spoiler bar is all the way to right, it is!!
Solid I can't complain. It's a great app. It runs well, it's well designed, and I've had no bugs or crashes in my experience. The spoiler setting is extremely useful, though I wish I could set it by individual chapters instead of whole books at a time. I love love LOVE the Journeys map. Seeing the paths each character has traveled is a great visual tool to enhance my reading experience. I just wish there were more illustrations and pictures for more visual cues.
Really cool. Captures essence of the book. While information may not be as abundant as that of the physical twoiaf, it's a great read in spare time on the go and is fun to view all the maps and journeys. It tends to. Rash for me every once in a while. Layout is great. Additional artwork would be nice though as well as journeys for non pov characters.
