RARLAB's RAR is an all-in-one, original, free, simple, easy and quick compression program, archiver, assistant, extractor, manager and even a basic file explorer.

RAR can create RAR and ZIP and unpack RAR, ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, 7z, ISO, ARJ archives. List of functions include repair command for damaged ZIP and RAR files, benchmark function compatible with RARLAB's WinRAR benchmark, recovery record, usual and recovery volumes, encryption, solid archives, utilizing multiple CPU cores to compress data.

Additionally to standard ZIP files, unzip function supports ZIP and ZIPX with BZIP2, LZMA, PPMd and XZ compression also as password protected ZIP. Unrar command is available for all versions of RAR archives including the latest RAR5, password protected and multipart files.

RAR displays advertising to cover development costs. You can pay in options menu to turn off ads. RAR requests access to network, viewing network connections and billing to display or disable ads.

This app is phenomenal! Hands down the best powerhouse for extracting and moving very large files on your phone. Top notch. I tried multiple different extracting apps and all would crash when trying to extract a 500mb file on my internal memory to my SD card. This RAR app took it like a champ and then some. Strongly recommend it!!

This app is exactly what I needed! Every time o tried to open a file on my phone, it had said "can't open file". And eventually I went on to Google and looked up what to do. And the very fist thing that was there, was to install this app, and it worked instantly. I didn't think that was true, so I got it. And as soon as I clicked the file, it opened! This app is MAGIC! Thanks.

At first it was unable to create rar into external sd card eventhough I haved followed all the instructions but now it can. I'm not sure what I did right. My phone is samsung a7 2017. Though the ads were not annoying I still paid to remove them.

Most helpful and friendly application. The future dont need money. Like star strek. No poor and no rich. Everybody are the same. But everything hv value for someone or something. Let somebody spend, give anything or donor for your life thn you make a price. Sharing valuable things is better than money.

Android 4.2.2. Edit : I unrar something and a add intrerupted my work. Normal archive of a folder gives almost the same number in MB, as the folder you are archiving. Why normal archive exists then ? Why if inside a archive, opening a text file inside the archive (your text file program will open in archive enviroment), editing and saving doesen't save it ? You must work in your text outside the archive. I lost work for this problem. Edit : I still cannot find where context menu is, to add files in archive.

Good app but has pop ups that autonatically sigb you up to a charity i have been signed up to i fitness throught a pop up whilst using this app and have been chsrged on my phone bill. They should block these pop ups as it is unfair. U will loose out on money due to stupid pop ups

The simplest way to add files to already existing archive is copy and paste in context menu. Though, you can also specify a name of existing archive in the archiving dialog.

This app looks very good,i don't think it's a battery hog like win zip is! (the main reason i uninstalled win zip)(but now that i have worked a little wit this app i find that it opens files that i could not open before,it's fantastic there!,so far i like it very much!...it is also small and a very smooth app!...i can also see that it is a very powerfull app,and those who fiddles endlessly with their file systems for no good reason might do dammage to their phones because this app is powerfull!,so don't blame this app if those messed up their phone,it is your fault not the apps fault! (I'm just saying you can do what you want ;) )

Zipped up a boatload of photos on the first try, where other apps had failed. Uploaded them to Google Drive without timing out, even though it took forever (the file was huge). A+ performance!

I would have given five stars but the lack of certain functionality makes the only real use of RAR that of an archiving tool. One missed function is "Open With", which in my opinion makes the file browsing portion irrelevant. Why do you need to browse for files when you can't read text files?

The app is good but.... It takes a little bit morw time to extract files ...than the es file explorer. I tried extracting a zip file on both...and this app was a bit slow. Anyways the app is excellent,we can extract multiple files at the same time.

The worst part about this porgram it dosent nag me to buy a key. Now it shows an ad. I rather have to buy a key or be told i must buy a key Best app for compressed files on your phone. I use it to extract iso files. So then I can use Usb on the go to connect my phone to my PSP. And coppy over my files

Even though my file manager has an unzip/zip functions I always have this app within my phone. It can read and unzip a file that my file manager can't recognize. I tried a bunch but this one is very satisfactory.

Best app i think even better than es file manager and a lot smaller but the full screen ads... really it is a bit annoying But for the free version it's worth it. 👌😆

It would've been a more convenient app if it had the option to keep the original created, modified and accessed timestamps of the files, just like the PC one has. Archiving files without the option to keep the file date/time would be pointless for those who wanted to preserve them. I hope you'll implement the option in your next update.

Best file manager app for non-rooted phones. But if you want to edit system files I prefer root browser. RAR much better than es file explorer in my opinion because it has a dark theme, lists files and folders, and has many options for zip file formats. Its like winrar built right into a file explorer! Overall, you dont have to get on your laptop just to transfer files.

Useless, it doesnt compress it simply baskets your files. It also damaged 2 important image files beyond recovery

Ive searched all over every app for one feature. Of every freaking app winrar has not let me down. I needed a batch extraction and this app does that prefectly just like the desktop version 10/10 will download again

The app is broken. Seems it need permission to use my sd card. It's already got it. And when it did extract too my internal storage it's lost. Searching for the file it finds nothing.

Works! Many apps claim they can open RAR files but don't. Some of these apps can't even find or see the RAR files. This one lives up to its name. ;) Fast and easy to use. Also efficient in size. 5 stars

It would be nice if it had an option to extract into the current directory. The only option is to create a new folder and extract into it. Other than that is a slick little app that does its job.

This is a very nice and the only app for compressing files using the best (most reliable, safe, secure) format of file compression. // There is a tiny bug: Dictionary Size is always set to 8MB when archiving dialog is open, other values are not recorded to default profile.

Very helpfull when I need to upload my files on my mobile phones to my server. But it is too often to disconnet (null connectio), so I have to connect again and choose all file that I need to upload.
