HTC One S No benefit to speed or ping running off a 100mb fibre optic connection. No doubt it does benefit other devices with lower connections though, however for me not needed so uninstalling.
Galaxy tab3 10.1" | Android 4.2.2 Woow, only 90kB and it really does work! IF you already are connected to (what should be) a fast connection, WHP-widget will blow your speedlimits away! IF you got bad reception, sometimes it helps, sometimes it only slows down even more. Just TRY it!
Works Great!!! I have had a Samsung Galaxy Nexus for a year now. It suffers from wifi dropouts all day long. I notice this alot while listening to streaming music and talk radio on iHeart Radio. After installing the Wifi High Performance widget, all the dropouts stopped. I am happy with streaming on my Galaxy Nexus now.
I was skeptical at first. But I started a download and checked the speed. I then paused it started this app and restarted the download. The speed difference was amazing. This really seems to help. If it's not working your WiFi signal may already be maxed out or your phone is the problem. Those things are beyond the app's control and doesn't deserve a bad rating because of it. Works with nvidia Shield tablet.
NOT disabling WiFi Power Save on SGS3 & SGN2 this does not disable wifi power save mode on devices easily verified by pressing *#0011# in dialer followed by menu button and selecting wifi info. please toggle this in app/widget otherwise not truly "performance" enhancing.
Didn't solve my issue Seems like a good app, but it did not fix the issue I have with my Nexus 4. When an WiFi and streaming via TuneIn, once the screen turns off, the audio will eventually cut off. Waking the screen causes it to rebuffer and work. Over 3G, no issues.
V1.19: Bugfix - performance mode enabled sometimes for not whitelisted networks.
