This game is amazing. Best mobile game I've played in months. I got it though Google play pass, but I would say it's definitely worth the money to buy it outright. One suggestion to the devs: my only gripe with the game is the Dream ability. I don't know the names of all the campgrounds and I think it would be much better if when you open the Dream ability, that the world map would pop up. From there you can tap on what camp you want to teleport to and then confirm if it's the right camp or not

This is essentially a Metroidvania Souls game. The controls are pretty nice for a mobile game. Although the movement is essentially aim and move to your target, and by moving you fly in a straight line. That has implications for how you move about, and makes the game pretty tactical in how you move. I was a little taken back at first by this but it's intuitive and they make ikt work really well. The pixel graphics don't go too far into retro world so things pop out of the screen like they should. It is actually challenging, but everything has an obvious way to deal with. The map is really nice, with typical Metroid style unlocks and backtracing. There's no gotchas in terms of pricing/microtransactions. Honestly I'd happily pay $10 for a game like this on Android. It is a unique take on a few formats, done with marvelous music and artistic style.

One of the coolest mobile or even side-scrolling Metroidvania type of games I've played. The animations are so smooth. The character designs are super cool and getting new abilities feels satisfying. Just beat the first big boss and it was the right amount of difficulty since I'm still getting the hang of the traversal style and weapons.
