❖STORY❖
In the distant future, the only sentient beings in the world are robots.
They are the last remnant of the human spirit.
However, mankind is not dead.
Technology exists that is capable of transferring memories to these robots.
But with limited space, new memories will gradually overwrite the old.
To prevent the emotions in human memories from fading away, the robots resorted to converting the emotions to music, and storing them in a place called Cytus.
The robots use these songs to experience human emotion and dream that souls exists in each of them...

I'll Always Love Cytus I bought Cytus Lambda on my PsVita before the psn mobile games store was taken down. I absolutely loved the music, and was so excited when Knight came out. Which has remained my absolute favorite from psv to my phone. I've never liked handheld rythm games until I gave Cytus a shot. I insantly bought it on my psv after going through the free chapter. I was so pleased to see all the new chapters in the phone version as well. Basically, 10/10, I've bought it twice and don't regret it!

Very very fun I love these type of game, but I couldn't find such game for mobile until I randomly found this one. This game has very soothing music and it's easy to get the hang of. I highly recommend it! Just the ads are really annoying. Once ad is skipped, you still have to wait 15 seconds to play the track.

Absolutely amazing! This game has pretty perfectly captured what makes music/rythm based games fun. Great music, fluid and easy controls, and a decent amount of content. It's free if you don't mind ads, and the one time payment to remove them is extremely cheap. Seriously, my hats off to the developers of this game. I can't recommend it enough!

Great, but takes too long to load in the beginning I don't know if it's a bug or if it's just me, but ever since I bought the full ver., it takes very long to load in the beginning that I have to minimize several times until it finally enters the game. The same thing happens after every game when it's trying to sync/save. Other than that, I'm satisfied with this game.

Superb! UPDATE: I now have the Note 7, 3 years or so later, and I'm still in love with this game! Still come back to it and replay all the songs. It's addicting and thrilling, and I listen to the songs even when I'm not playing because I genuinely enjoy them. (Old review after this point) The mechanics of the game run flawlessly on my note 2 and the music is dramatic, beautiful and motivating. My #1 favorite game on the market.

Full version! Well, tbh cytus is amazing, but the full version doesnt give the real "full version". You need $20+ for the real "full version". I bought the "full version" (which is cheap, $2) because i want to support the dev, and unlock more cool stuff, but cytus just crashing my hope by adding "additional paid and cool chapter" by selling it. It's kinda crazy. I could consider to download the full version from the internet, but i still respect the dev. At least put some playable chapter for people like me. Thanks.

Great game. I would recommend a large screen phone. This would make pressing the bubbles easier. Make sure the phone is stable so that it doesnt slide around. My moto x had a curved back so it kept spinning around. Other than that there is alot of content! Definitely worth your 3 bucks.
Great game... Recommended I love this game! It's so good and fun to play. It even comes with lots of free songs but checking your rank placement is hard. It only says like "top 3%" for average TP but I wanna know my rank number. I play Cytus occasionally as it lags on my phone but besides this game I play Implosion, another Rayark game.
Great as new, though there's a bug! I love this game and it has become my #1 most-loved portable game on my phone. The thing is, when Cytus tries to connect to my save cloud on the white screen, the loading symbol keeps going and I never get to play anymore. I have to go on airplane mode to stop it, but then none of my new high scores are saved! Please fix this bug, I've had this game for more than 4 years and I seriously love it!
It really is the best rhythm game But the $5-10/extra level is a bit steep in comparison to the $2 for getting it ad free. I hope this company pays it's employees well and there is no more than a 15% difference in pay between the CEO and employees. If not consider this app a 3 instead of 4. I'm too lazy to look it up but may this be a message that customers certainly care about prices and pay ethics.
Was 5/5 however will not work on android 7 Brilliant game, possibly my favourite however since upgrading to the Pixel XL I've been unable to even open the app! Contacted the developer to be met with a read message and no reply! After purchasing all the song packs this is one way to be treated!
Not working on Google pixel Look I had this game on my I phone and loved it, but I simply can't play it on my Google pixel. I really don't want to give this game 3 stars but at this point in time it's unplayable for me. So rayark I know you guys will fix this, and as soon as you do you'll get a big five. Edit: I'm now taking this review down to one stars. This is because I emailed the devs and was left with no response after a week. Thanks guys.
Loved it, but now it won't open This game has followed me time after time, device after device and for good reason, it's at the top of its genre! Great graphics, fantastic music selection but alas all things must come to an end. The last few months, doesn't matter what device I play it on, it crashes or just never opens to the loading screen. I am deeply saddened that an update may have doomed me and that I will never be able to play my favorite mobile game ever!
Kicks me out I used to play this game all the time. It had great music and was challanging. Now it wont even make it to the title screen before it kicks me out of the app. Gets to "use headphones for best experience" but wont go farther then that. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting data of game, restqrting device, but none of it works. Please fix.
If osu! Is your thing, this is for you. I gave it a 4 stars because some of the songs are locked behind a paywall and lack of mod support. But, it kinda reminds me of osu!. Especially when its mostly Doujin, Touhou, rock (a genre used very loosely to an extent), symphonic scranz, and so on. Highly reccomended
Hi I love your game but after updating it I haven't being able to play. It just throws me out the moment I click Cytus. Please find a way to fix this, I truly enjoy this game its the most complete one I've seen in all playstore.
Incredible and beautiful game Decided to make a new review for the latest version. Cytus is still just as stunning, challenging, and incredible as it has ever been. The music is expertly produced and the visuals are absolutely beautiful. There is NOT a better game out there. Rayark deserves all the praises they receive for this game. Download it now!
Finally, a great music game with offline support! The best thing about it is the option to play offline. I've played a bunch of other fairly good rhythm apps already but this is the first that allows me to continue jamming without the need to connect to wifi or mobile data. Cooldown waiting period for free players isn't too painful and the game offers a wide selection of great beats that aren't locked behind a pay wall. Definitely highly recommend this for other music game lovers out there! :)
I came across this game out of the blue when I was looking for something to play on a trip away for work. After a few levels I was HOOKED. If you can look past the cheesy dance/dubstep and sometimes frankly full on "Anime" music, and enjoy any rhythm based game like guitar hero or similar, then you will love this just like I do.
Such a great game!!! I absolutely LOVE this game. After downloading it, you'll play it for hours on end. The storyline is unique, and the songs are catchy! One problem I have though, is with the update. I bought the full version of the game on my Acer tablet, and I've been playing it for a while. Recently, I haven't been able to play Cytus, since it keeps saying "Cytus has stopped." (Not the white screen problem) I'm not asking for a refund, I just want the problem to be fixed. Thank you for making such an awesome game!!
Why just... Why Rayark Dev: hmmm what else could we add to make the game more fun... I know, a harder version of the hardest song in the game.| Rest of the team: great idea and we won't even add a remixed version of the song either like we do with all our other secret songs. |Rayark Dev: sounds great it will go nicely with the new song pack of soothing mellow songs by night keepers with the one song that isn't night keepers in the night keepers pack. Can't open the game I really loved playing Cytus! however, the past few weeks, i just cleared some of the cache of my phone then suddenly I can only see a black screen everytime I open Cytus. Hope you can fix my problem.
The game is litteraly full for free! The only thing is, ads which is ok. I can't believe that this game is full free! 😊 Yes it have ads, but tbh they only show b4 you start a song. That's it. Good job devs! The best tapping music game I have played so far.
One of the best modern rhythm games, now complete If you are looking for a game with beautiful art, addicting gameplay, and thrilling music, then you should definitely get this game. (For those who experience the white screen issue, just turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data, then restart the app)
Doesn't work I love this game. Did not hesitate to buy the full version. But after I got the latest update, it keeps crashing everytime I try to open it. Really upsetting since Cytus is my favorite music game of all time. Can you guys please fix this bug?
Took my money, didn't give me full version I payed with a Visa card and, after the transaction was completed and they CHARGED me the money, they said "payment method unaccepted". I checked my debit card online and the amount disappeared. Don't bother buying from this scammers...
A Nice Time Killer I play in my down time and even find myself playing for at least an hour. The achievements and songs are jus great and enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone who wants a cool game with awesome music to boot.
Phenomenal Best rhythm game I've found for Android. Unique and very well made. I want more difficult songs! Harder! I do wish there was a larger range to calibrate sound delay as my headphone latency is higher than the highest adjustment.
Loving it Really enjoying the game so far though it has one issue.... Whenever i close it my mobile freezes for a few seconds. I don't know why that is but if you can fix this it will be great
Great game, but..... Loved this game on my Note 4 (Android 6). However, that phone bit the dust, and I upgraded to a Pixel XL (Android 7.1) and it just hangs before it even gets to a loading screen. I'm only docking 1 star for this, since I got years of enjoyment out of it before the new phone. Here's hoping the developers can fix it for the newest Android.
love the game but it is very laggy in oneplus 3 and the only game lagging on this phone. Had no issues with it on my zenfone 2 but now the line is really annoying when switching from top to bottom
Stopped working!!! Me and my friends love playing this game!! But when I updated this game suddenly it stopped working. I was really sad because I thought that maybe I should just reinstall it but the same thing happened. So in the end I lost the points I have earned. I hope you guys could fix this. Because I'm dying!! To play the new chapter.

Stopped working I really like this game and actually it was one of my favorite games, but after the 10.0 update it stopped working. When i tried to open the game it said "Unfortunately, Cytus has stopped." I tried unistalling it and then installing it again, but it still doesnt work. Please fix it!!
Could be fun... except If you enjoy rythm games it could be great. However i would not go with the free version. Ads after every song, constantly spamming for purchase. It gets obnoxious very fast. I played 2 songs, sitting through 1 a 30 second ad before each song and was prompted to upgrade twice. Uninstalled
Should include the option for disabling combo popup Great game, but the combo popup (like getting 25,50,100...) is little disturbing that might make me lose concentration. There should be a way to disable it.
Good but It's a great rhythym game, but calibration can be difficult, especially when different songs have different calibration settings...and even then some songs can be a little off. It's unfortunate that the quality of the gameplay depends upon the quality of the touch screen or device you're using. This game is great on my phone but sucks on my tablet :/
I love it but.. If I already bought the full game I shouldn't have to buy the other chapters. I feel like I didn't buy the full game I just bought a game without the actual game content. Example, I buy a game but to play it I have to buy another thing which means I have to buy another thing and so on so on. I understand that you might need the money but it doesn't make since to buy a 'full game' but not really the full game, you get it?
really great, a few tweaks would be recomended very very very amazing rhythm game the best i like challenging my finger speed. the only thing i would find not that great is the combo pop ups. as one of the reviews said, its very distracting especially when there would be a note right in the middle. please do something about this so it wont break our combo ^^
Love this, but... I love this game! Hands down one of the greatest game ever! However, when I use my bluetooth headset the sound is delayed. Only in this game does it do that. Kindly fix this please, it's hard to play with the audio out of tempo with the buttons.
