About this app

The Raymarine App is the official digital companion for Raymarine chartplotters and connected boating. Use the Raymarine App to view and control radar, sonar, and chartplotter from your Axiom chartplotter display. Connect and monitor your boat remotely with the Raymarine YachtSense Link mobile router and manage your Raymarine LightHouse Charts right from your mobile device. The Raymarine mobile app also allows streaming and control of Raymarine legacy eS and gS Series chartplotter displays. Please note that Element chartplotter displays are not compatible with the screen mirroring feature.

Tech Notes

- For best performance, be sure to upgrade your Axiom, Element, or eS/gS chartplotter to the latest software. Visit https://www.raymarine.com/en-us/support to learn more.

- Mobile devices running Android 11 and a YachtSense Link system may experience sporadic connectivity issues. For best performance, we recommend updating your mobile device to Android 12 or later.

- Autopilot activation/deactivation is not possible via a mobile device.

- The Raymarine app is not compatible with non-Raymarine chartplotter displays. The Raymarine app is not intended to be a standalone navigational app.

Ratings and reviews

Completely disappointed with this app. I connected to my brand new Element chart plotter which I have updated to the lastest software version. Wi-Fi connects with "No Internet" warning. Plotter says it remains connected to my Internet Wi-Fi. App says I am not connected to my boat even though I am connected to its Wi-Fi. So no app features are available. Raymarine has great hardware, but their app and LH charts are very poor quality. My LifePo4 battery has much better software and Bluetooth too.

So far, performance is quite good. Make sure you run the start the app with Internet, to log into your account. Then connect phone wifi to the axiom wifi access point. It does mean turning wifi on and off on the viewing device if you still want Internet data via cellular, vs a wifi connection with local data (axiom) but no internet. Android, Samsung s22.

It basically works on a tablet, but flaky. E.g. need Restart if you change to a different app. Useless on a phone as too small. Ray remote is a different application, No longer supported that looks like it has an Option for the auto pilot on a phone. But not possible on a phone with this app. Is way too small. Also, ramerine Wi-Fi is very weak, so need to be very near axium pro.
