M.K. Probaly one of the best banking app there is. One thing that is very high on my wish list is that you can view images of your checks that you deposited and images of the checks that cleared your account on this app just like you can do on your desk top. Hence the 1 star rating. Love the app overall. Keep up the updates RBC and keep them comming and this rating will be turned into a 5 star.
Def one of the best mobile bank app i have used However... way too many technical issues straight on log ins in the past year. I will turn this into a 5 star when we see a bit more stability. The website is so good, it makes us expect something of good stability on the mobile version. The outages on the mobile app are pretty long but im confident your team will eventually come with something solid.
*Still* Broken Still isn't working. Samsung galaxy s4 rooted device running pacrom. Force closed, cache cleared, data wiped, uninstalled, rebooted device, ensured no old RBC apk reminants remained on root or sdcards. Reinstalled from playstore. opened app, put in client card #, password, got to security question and correctly answered. app crashed. relaunched app, went to sign in screen client card # remembered, put in password, crashes when attempting to load next screen. Log sent. No I won't call tech. Ridiculous.
The worst app ever. Can't even log in to my account. I type in my user and password correctly, just the way i login online and when i put my password and then hit log in, password field dissapears and the there is a stupid message. "Oops we were expecting something different. Try again" WTF. I'm even planning on switching banks. Not really useful
I am trying to recieve money from a friend, e-mail transfer, when I select RBC, it says to download the application when I have the app already installed. It doesn't recognize the installed applications and I end up going to app store where I click "open" and the that's the end of it... I get no options for money transfer and I'm back to square one.
Overall pretty good and does what I need it to, for the most part. One thing I wish it had was a "currency" option on the mobile deposit screen, so I could deposit USD cheques. As it is, only CAD cheques can be deposited through the app, so I still have to walk to a branch if I want to deposit a USD cheque.
