This new 3.0 is miles ahead of the old app. Swipe down on the login screen wallpaper to see acct balances without logging in, is fantastic. But still missing: epost bills and the finance tracker. No online help. Too much white space; being able to customize main page elements, yeah that would be great.
It does exactly what it's supposed to, and looks rather elegant while doing so. However, it's not perfect. The biggest problem I've encountered is the app not allowing me to sign in with my fingerprint, saying something along the lines of "sorry, we're currently experiencing technical issues". When I then enter my password to access my account, it lets me in without a problem... The second issue isn't so much a problem, but it would be nice if the photo displayed on the login screen would change every once in a while. Don't get me wrong, mountains and lakes are nice and all, but it would still be nice to see different photos. Other than that, I just hope the team who works on the app continues to make improvements! Side note: Where's the Android Pay support, RBC?!? I like your app, but I do not want to use it for mobile payments.
Just looking for a place to flag that the direct investing component of the app is currently useless because it times out for inactivity immediately. Regular banking works fine. An in-app submission page for issues like this would be helpful so it doesn't have to be posted as a crappy review, other than this issue the app works great.
Its a good app. Good insights. Very reliable. One thing, please make your services available on Android pay or Samsung pass if they are approaching RBC. I really dont like to dowmload RBC wallet. I use *******banks credit card for my daily use just because it is available on Android pay
Never works properly to receive email money transfers, despite the app being fully updated. Very annoying to have to log in on a computer to receive a transfer when I can do everything else on the app. Either use the app and make banking a 2 step process (app and website requored) or just skip the app altogether and just use the website.
This app used to be great to use as a small business owner. Now whenever I receive an etransfer it brings me to this page instead of my installed app. So I have to go onto my computer and reenter all of my banking info each time. I guess they really wanted a bad review.
