Mindfulness appen STOP er udviklet til e-læringsprogrammet Mindfulness i Skolen, som findes på www.mindfulness-i-skolen.nu
Hensigten med appen er at give eleverne mulighed for at træne mindfulnessøvelserne både i og uden for skolen, så de har øvelserne nemt ved hånden.
Appen hedder STOP som henviser til den korte øvelse, hvor man Stopper-op og Står eller Sidder Stille, Tager en pause og Trækker vejret, Observerer med Opmærksomhed (hvad der opleves i krop, tanker og følelser), Passer på sig selv og Prøver igen (med den aktivitet man var i gang med).

Men appen består ikke kun af de guidede mindfulness-øvelser. Den er også tænkt som et brugerinddragende og interaktivt redskab, der giver eleven mulighed for at "checke ind" med sig selv: Hvilke følelser har jeg i dag? Hvilke tanker har jeg? Hvordan har jeg det i kroppen i dag?

Dette skaber en bevidsthed hos den unge om egen tilstand og giver mulighed for at ændre tilstanden ved at lave en mindfulnessøvelse (hvor der henvises til bestemte øvelser alt efter den registrerede tilstand). Tanken bag at bringe opmærksomhed og observation til de fysiske, psykiske og mentale tilstande er inspireret af den social-emotionelle læring (SEL), hvor kimen består i at lære børn og unge, at det er godt at mærke sig selv og sine følelser, og derudfra mærke hvad der er behov for, den pågældende dag, i den pågældende situation.

Det interaktive fremgår også som en statistik der hjælper eleven til at følge sin egen mindfulness progression, i takt med at øvelserne laves dag for dag, uge for uge. Statistikken viser hvor mange øvelser der er lyttet til, hvilke øvelser, man har som favoritter, og hvor hyppigt man har lavet mindfulness. Et pointsystem optæller aktiviteterne og belønner eleven med "ikoner" alt efter hvor mange gange man har lavet øvelser.

The app is called STOP which refers to the short exercise where Stops-up and quiet standing or sitting, Take a break and Breathing, Observing with attention (what is experienced in the body, thoughts and feelings) Fits in themselves and retrying (with the activity you were doing).

But the app does not consist only of the guided mindfulness exercises. It is also intended as a draws on user and an interactive tool that allows the student to "check in" with himself: What feelings I have today? What thoughts do I have? How do I feel in your body today?

This creates an awareness among the young about their own condition and allows to change the state by making a mindfulnessøvelse (referring to specific exercises depending on the recorded state). The idea behind bringing attention and observation to the physical, psychological and mental states is inspired by the social-emotional learning (SEL), where the seed is to teach children and young people that it is good to brand themselves and their feelings, and therefrom brand that is needed for that day, in that situation.

The interactive also appears as a statistic that helps the student to follow his own mindfulness progression, as the exercises are made day by day, week by week. The statistics show how many exercises that are listened to, what exercises you have as friends and how frequently you have made mindfulness. A point system enumerates the activities and reward the student with "icons" depending on how many times you have done the exercises.
